Vio-Lence is my favorite band, which is why it pains me to say this but I have to keep it real, but first let me say what I did like about it. Sean. Once I heard it was going to be a cover my main interest as hearing how Sean would sound now after not recording something in 2 decades. Sean is my favorite vocalist in metal. Period. Sean sounds awesome, the voice and intent is there and it shows what I can expect when they actually drop their own music. Sean is going to kill it and i can’t wait for that. Now aside from that, can’t say i dig this. I think as a bonus song or something else down the road would have worked better for this. But to have this as your FIRST STRIKE back after not having released anything in 2 decades? A bit of a let down, definitely would have wanted a brand new original Vio-Lence song to be the first thing you release since ‘93. But hey, it is what it is and i’m just happy and grateful the band is even playing again and Sean is looking great. Anyway, looking forward to your next release.

The band wanted to drop a cover as a "teaser" while they write their own songs, the whole band knows that the new songs need to be as good as the classics, so they are taking their time, crafting the new songs as best as they can, in order to achieve that.

They have been posting hella stuff of them in the studio, they should have waited and released an original. This does not give me hope for new Vio, I guess we will see.

Its definitely the teaser for the upcoming album. They were due to hit the festival circuit this year and would have released it at some point to promote them on tour. Since the festivals have been put back a year, releasing covers and b sides now makes perfect sense. trust me.. when the album drops, it will be like a bomb went off!

Agreed 100%. Sean sounds awesome and i think the band's instruments sound crushing as well. Im not a big fan of the release as well and the video is s bit silly. Still on board the Vio train however and looking forward to the next stop.

Covering Jello is not an easy thing to do. In fact, I am still amazed that this even exists as I was at Killian on Command a little over two years ago. Sean looked like he was not long for this earth cut to now and he sounds stronger than ever!! WTF!!? Can't wait for the EP! Much love guys!

This is a really cool cover & a great nod to Bay Area Punk Rock. Anyone who thinks less of Vio-lence for putting this out & being disappointed needs their head examined... the band even mentioned this was for fun so when the EP drops I'm sure it's going to tear your heads clean off, so relax. These guys have something to prove & all will be right when the EP comes out.

I usually don't like cover tunes but that was pretty damn good and Sean sounds amazing. I truly hope this is just a taste of what some new original Vio-lence material will sound like. Eternal Nightmare forever !!!!!
