[Stereo feed] Live in a television studio. A bit dark, but that is how they usually filmed the sets, in those days.

Brian Ritchie is such an amazing bassist. He needs to be in the conversation more.

He is such a unique player with a very distinctive tone. So jealous of his sound.

My favorite song they ever did. A little bit too fast live though.

Exactly. Too fast for me. But I agree with you too...

This really feels like Nirvana was possibly even influenced by these guys. Seeing as though they were already a band and “discovered” by someone from the Pretenders. In 1981.

@@gravellane150 While the Femmes caught on in the early 80's, I don't think they actually found widespread recognition until the 90's when Nirvana and grunge rock had already taken over.

I kinda like it fast for a change. The words are still as amazing, maybe better hearing them more this way. Youre right though. Im a big femmes fan and I find its this one I wanna hear the most

Color me once, color me twice Everything gonna turn out nice Everlasting arms you gotta Keep me from these false alarms Alarm, alarm I see you sad Maybe I see you I'm glad Maybe maybe the fire of her desire Patience, patience said the man Patience, patience I can't understand Patience like a man and a wife I got patience On my neck like a cold, cold knife I say Jack be nimble Jack fall dead Jack bend over and give Jilly head Oh, you gotta help my body heal my soul Dead men working a sinner a saint Mixing up a pail of paint Painted the house, black as night When the sun came up the house was white Gotta go on, gotta go on We gotta go on, you gotta go on You gotta go on, go on, go on Try and live life like I couldn't

You're welcome. Shame about the "direction" of the clip, but, as you pointed out, the music speaks for itself. Thanks for the note of appreciation :)
