I HATE THAT THIS TOOK ME SO LONG.
I started this right after the film came out last month but I was flooded with so much work that I didn't have time to get it done as fast as I wanted to.
I have nothing to say except that this story broke my heart into a million pieces and I knew I had to edit it.

i think this movie beautifully replicates that many people who suffer with mental illness can also seem happy, and unbothered, especially if they suffer from bipolar disorder. and this shows that you can’t let someone’s exterior fool you because they could still be suffering. be kind to everyone, even if they don’t seem unhappy. just be kind.

I think the saddest thing is rewatching this movie and noticing all the signs that he showed. Or how he saved her but she couldn’t save him. That has to be the worst feeling ever.

I recently finished the book and watched the movie and honestly I COULD NOT STOP CRYING! This edit is beautiful, it showcases Violet and Finch’s relationship perfectly.

Difference in the story Violet tells Finch to leave but he stayed and she lived Finch tells Violet to leave she leaves and he dies

@@Amanda-gv4zg well technically look at Finch's perspective and the time before his death not saying it was violets fault but it's no one's fault actually but unfortunately the problems keep stacking up and his depressive state was coming back and all happened together so technically he had no chance of survival alone

The movie is great, but I do really really recommend reading the book! A lot of things were left out in the movie, and if you liked the movie you will really, really, love the book! It's got the greatness and beauty of the movie, but just doubled infinite times. It's been my favorite book since I was 16, and now I'm 20. Just give it a chance, it can be your summer read ;)

Totally agree, the book is a gem😍😍 Cried soooo much after I finished both movie and book. I wish there were the scene where Violet puts Eleanor's glasses down in the movie too, touched me so much while reading and the death scene of Finch is even better in the book, though it's deeply heartbreaking in the movie as well.😭

the book destroyed me in 8th grade. I watched the movie in 11th grade and it hit harder because i’ve grown up, and i felt it, in my entire soul. Thank u for this edit, Fine line fits perfectly

i realized after reading the book something crazy (i also read the movie but i’m about to spoil something sooo) so pretty much in the beginning, violet is called the “hero” for saving Violet from jumping off the bell tower. this however, was wrong. finch saved her but since no one liked him, they didn’t want to think he was the good one. they went through their time together doing things together and in the end, when violet really could have saved finch, she couldn’t. i know this doesn’t have some big thing that makes a world of difference but i realized it and it really opened my eyes.

This is the most butefull movie I have ever seen this movie has helped me thew my dark places and now its still a bit dark but it is way more bright I'm sitting in my families house crying and being grateful that they made this movie and this movie has inspired me to draw and write my emoshions either then crying every day I still cry sometimes but it helps a lot may you rest in peas Cameron Boyce may you now life and fly with all the other eagels 😇🙏😖😭

Γεια και παλι!!! 🎉🎉🎉Φοβερή ταινία, την είδα δύο φορές και σχεδόν τελείωσα και το βιβλίο, πρέπει να το διαβάσεις είναι τέλειο. Εγώ το υποψιάστηκα ότι αυτοκτόνησε (ή όπως λένε ότι ήταν ατύχημα) όταν είδα το αυτοκίνητο του, τότε λέω έχει πλάκα. Ε και μετά άρχισε το κλάμα 😅
