This ride made me start doing looped roller coasters. I was scared at the time. When I went with my brother, I asked him "Are there any loops on this one?" and he said no... As we were going up we just see 7 loops lmfao

It should be called " The Mike Tyson Experience." This ride left me with bruises on my face lol.

They should redo this ride. From what I've heard it has mostly negative reviews saying how people come off with their head hurting or have pain elsewhere.

Sad thing is it's the only one of its kind left in the world :(

Viper...The LAST remaining 7-looper coaster in the world made by Arrow Dynamics. If Six Flags removes this one I will be really mad at them. I hope they consider revamping it or making it smooth again so it can relive it's glory days. R.I.P. GASM and Shockwave.

If you don't know how to ride it, it can be rough, but if you lean your head in the direction that the train is twisting during the batting and corkscrew, you'll get a surprisingly smooth ride for an Arrow 7-looper.

First thought: this rollercoaster looks like the one in Final Destination.

I love Viper so much. I got to ride it two times in a row cause of the really short lines, but honestly I didn’t even bump my head or my neck, it was a really fun ride with great speed and many loops. 10/10

This was one of the least painful arrow loopers I rode. I actually enjoyed it. Arrow loops are just beautiful and hilarious at the same time.

Felt like my ears were on its menstrual cycle after this ride.

This was my favorite coaster in the 1990's. The last time I rode it, there was no X coaster to look at when you reach the top of the lift hill. Sadly, it became a rough ride as many Arrow coasters have, but Ron Toomer was very proud of this one, as he should be.. RIP, RON

I remember when this ride was smooth as silk. I was a kid and this was my favorite ride at the park. This was back when it first opened, of course. But now it's one of the worst rides at the park. So painful. I refuse to ride it, which makes me kinda sad, since I have so many fond memories of it. -_- Oh well. It's only a matter of time before they either remove it completely or revamp it. I vote for the latter, because I think it deserves it.

I went on this ride when I went to California on a school trip in 94. Really fun.

Six Flags Magic Mountain should look into investing in soft shoulder restraints for this ride. Like the restraints on Banshee at Kings Island, for example. You know, for all the people who complain about head banging...

This ride needs new trains with lap bars like Full Throttle. Viper would be 10x better.

I absolutely love the twists and turns on this ride. One of the best coasters I have ever been on.

Viper, my all time favorite ride. The double tear drop loops made my eye balls feel as if there not in focus.

Despite the bumpy ness and jerking, this ride was fun!! Just make sure to hold on super tight! I had to hold my head to the side really hard so that it wouldn’t jerk to the other side. I rode it like 20 times because there was no line for it at all! I wonder why though...

Truly a classic roller coaster of all time! One of my favorites regardless of the bad press. but yes, softer harnesses won't hurt, only improve ridership.

This ride hurts like a bitch. It gave me headaches after i rode it but aye that ride is from the 90's when they build it by hand and not with computers so obvs this ride will be a pain but i give them credit for the hard work and the loops. Loops are my favorites in rollercoasters.

I rode this. One of my favorites at SFMM. The batwing element right after the brake run is really cool, and the double corkscrew in the second half creates a weird optical illusion. It's also a VERY smooth ride, especially since the seats were recently fixed. Everything a good coaster should have.

With the loops, batwing, and double corkscrew at the end, it reminds me of Drachen Fire pre 1994 at Busch Gardens in VA.

Well, since Viper is the name of this very hoopiest roller-coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain, there's even a snake called a viper too. Because viper is the name of a snake too! And it's a snake!

I have been to Six Flags 3 times and every time I ride this coaster multiple times. Once my friend and I rode it 7 times in a row. Had a bad headache after but it was worth it. Lol.

Viper IS my childhood! I actually got KICKED OUT of Six Flags Magic Mountain on my birthday because my friends (not me) were filming their experience on one of Magic Mountain's coasters. I'm probably dating myself but there was a time when trying to film a POV coaster ride was not tolerated. The future is good times.

I remember riding this coaster 6 times in a row before the park closed back in the 90s when there was no waiting time. I see the comments about how the ride is painful but I guess I was so young that it didn't bother me back then. Good times.

When I was a kid I had a vhs tape called there goes a rollercoaster. It was filmed at magic mountain and was more or less just a giant advertisment for it. The scene where they showcased viper was always my favorite. 20 years later I finally got the chance to go to magic mountain and ride viper and you know what? It kicked the living shit out of me. 20 god damn years to have my head slammed back and fourth countless times.

The worst roller coaster in the world -,-

I remembered when this ride opened. I was a child back then and was wasn’t tall enough to ride. I was devastated. All I could do after finding out I couldn’t ride was stare at the first loop. I still vividly remember that moment. I loved watching this coaster in motion. I ride it every time I went back, once I could ride it. I haven’t been to MM since 2001, but I remember how it felt to ride this coaster. Yea, it’s rough. BUT, I remember the fun I had most. The backseat was the funniest section to ride in. Flying over the top of the hill...painful, but fun. That first loop was so epic. I loved the last four inversions. So disorienting. Now, my memories of my childhood and teenage self may, contrast greatly if I were to ride it today, as a 30 something year old man! 😂 Again, I remember how rough it was! 😂

My favorite thing about this ride is that it sounds like it's freaking falling apart when the train goes up the lift hill. Lol
