So was this the first ever example of a drone on TV ?? And is that XENON lights on the defender ?? Starting to think the defender was a REAL prototype of the future !!!

Yep. Quite a bit of the tech on this show became reality later on so people seeing it now who weren't around when it originally came on may not be as blown away with it as we were seeing it when it first aired.

The description section was intended to be colloquial. "TV land" was just a casual expression describing the whole landscape of televised programs. We're I referring to an actual company I would have given the complete legal title of said company. Actually, I didn't even know of such a thing as TVLand.com But thanks, I'll change that to avoid any further confusion. Thanks.

i think this is an old tv ad for the syndication when it first came about, not that it is really coming to tv land. I see no listings of it on TVland.com, so this is an apparent troll
