If it's a vowel, comes from the bowel. That's how I remember the route of transmission.

I love the video just came across your video. I'm currently working in the research field dealing with HIV/Hep infections and will be supporting a new clinic. I wanted to refresh my memory or relearn Hep lab panel as and being able to interpret what I see. I'm ok with it but your video made things very clear. The one thing I was also looking into was, the labs are expressed in positive or negative but sometimes I come across numbers. Are there general lab value ranges? please let me know. And thanks again.

Very well presented, I am glad to have stumbled across this to give me a refresher of the condition before I work on a national UK policy in Hep B and C. Thank you very much. The Hep C virus falls into the family of Flaviviridae, but does it belong in the Flavivirus, or Hepacivirus genus? All the best!

I have a question. When talking about antibody of Hepatitis B surface antigen, Why is it said Anti HBsAB. Isn't it HBsAB. When you put Anti in front of HBsAB I think of it as working against the antibody or in favor of antigen. Makes sense?

Very useful information. What should be done when HBsAg is 1240 mg. Doctor is saying no medicine required at this stage. No other adverse thing in liver. Suggest what should be done at this stage.

hey I have a question cause I'm preparing myself a presentation that talks about the epidemiology of HAV Does scarring occur to the liver in HAV or only if it's chronic which means in BCD types ? I need a quick answer pleaaase
@chiranthiekarunaratna32059 жыл бұрын
That cleared up a lot! Thank you! But may I ask what the difference between HBsAb and Anti-HBsAb, seems like an oxymoron?
@leonorawilliams94404 жыл бұрын
Chiranthie Karunaratna . There is 1. HBsAg 2. anti-HBsAg or HBs Ab
@MrAboodyboody7 жыл бұрын
Thanks man for the explanation. One simple question, is there a difference when you note an antibodiy as, for an example, "anti-HBsAB" or "HBsAB"? Like the inclusion of the "anti" in the beginning got me curious if their's a difference. Thanks!

I have a situation where HBsAg+, HBsAb-; HBeAg-, HBeAb+; viral load is 20. Was told the viral load shouldn't exceed 2. What do you suggest to be the next line of action with this result.

your greatness doctor.iam medical student in my last semister of study....i have also hepetitis B virus which i accidently discovered on blood donation screaning before 8yrs..i really don't know how is infected but actually since 2006 upto today i still have HBsAg positive and all my liver enzymes are normal....i was told iam CARRIER. so how can get rid or turn negative of it....since i have no sign and symptoms showing infection all my life till now.?what should i have to do???????I WANT TO MARRY AND HAVE TO GET CHILDREN SO USING CONDOMS NEVER HELPS THA TOO???????/HELP ME FOR ANY INFORMATION..
@ScienceAnswers10110 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your question. That would be a better question for your personal medical doctor. Although I have a good suspicion of your situation , there are further tests that can be done to monitor your condition and figure out your prognosis. Again, since I am NOT your personal doctor, I am going to have to defer answering this question. Sorry and best of luck.
