Is viral load cumulative? I.e. if you are in a room with six people that each have a low viral load does the air in the room carry a cumulative higher viral load?

Thank you for your excellent question. Logically, it is a possibility that viral load could be cumulative especially if people are sitting together, indoors and interacting with one another for a prolonged period of time without wearing face coverings.

@@MrEvtmazda That's correct, that's why N95 masks are the best face covering but these are meant to be a priority use for healthcare professionals. This is why the CDC instead recommends double mask wearing: wearing two face coverings together. For example surgical mask with a fabric face mask on top.

I heard there was a study on gargling salt water everyday had good results in reducing occurrence of respiratory illnesses.
