This is pretty much any Chinese food spot in South Central and the rest of Los Angeles County in a nutshell; Chow Mein and/or fried rice with your choice of dish piled high to where you can't even close the lid on your plate

We had a Chinese restaurant that did that when it got close to closing time... But after seeing cockroaches crawling on the buffet table of very dried up food I never went back no matter how much they gave you!

As someone from an Asian countries rhis is our usual explanation for needing to serve a lot of food during closing. Unlike in the US or European cuisines, Asians use a lot of spices and sauces that easily spoil.

I have my favorite Chinese food spot. They have been surviving inflation at reasonable prices even though I can't say they fill you as much as this video but its still my go to spot for Chinese food.

Yep, it's legit. It's pretty much customary for a Chinese takeout joint here in Los Angeles to serve a mountain and two hills of food to hungry customers
