I was at a store waiting for someone to back out of the parking spot and had my turn signal on. Two women pulled quickly into the spot. When I politely asked if they saw me waiting with my turn signal on, they yelled at me and called me a mother f---r. The look on their faces when they came out with their groceries only to find 4 flat tires was worth it.

No, conversation doesn't always solve it. I told a neighbor multiple times not to park in front of my garage and block me and they were always rude about me asking them to be considerate. One day they did it again, so I opened the garage and just started cleaning my guns. After an hour, they came out with their kids and I just stared at them the entire time while cleaning my rifle. They never blocked me in again.

I used to live in a mobile home park that every lot has 2 parking spots assigned. I was coming home from work and noticed that someone had a few Friends visit and parked in my assigned parking spots. I went to the them asking them to remove their cars out of my assigned spots and they refused. Next thing they notice was 2 cops and 2 tow trucks hooking up to those cars and moving them out of my assigned spots. Clearly they were pissed and I told them these 2 spots are mine as long as I am renting this lot. They came back during the day and complained to the manager of the mobile home park and got told the same thing. Also told them I had every right to have them towed.

I used to work for the Fire Department someone blocked the hydrant we had to get to due to a massive fire. Well broke out nith front door windows driver side and passenger side and made sure the coupling wasn't all the way tight and made sure it was right dead center of the front seats. Owner came out as we were cleaning up and threw a fit demanding that we pay for all the damage. What they got was 3-4 tickets of course this was in the late 80s early 90s ypu could do that stuff then and not worry about getting sued

I remember one time, I was parked legally in a parking space provided by a store. Someone parked on the road, blocking 3 spaces 🤦‍♂ I had to wait for 15 minutes before the driver returned and he was so arrogant, as if it's no problem that he just blocked everyone in. That's the reality, there's a lot of selfish people that only think about themselves. I guess that explains why a lot of people enjoy watching the towing operations, it feels like a little bit of revenge on those drivers who cause problems for everyone else.

I used to work for a moving company and operated a mobile lift platform so that household items could be moved out of upper floor windows down to the street. I could extend the lift to the 18th floor if needed but that meant I had to park directly in front of the building in line with the window.... and often there was some asswipe parked there when I arrived, despite the No Parking signs placed there the day before. I enjoyed getting the police down to tow them away... the owners of the cars would always throw a fit but I had no sympathy.

Normally, I'd say just call a tow truck, but for this lady, I sure wish I had that claw: My mother is in a wheelchair and we were leaving a restaurant on a very hot day. There was only one handicap sloped area for wheelchairs to enter/exit sidewalk...and it was large enough for this pretentious witch to park her brand new corvette in it. I was livid - the audacity! I went back into the restaurant to try to get management to track the owner down. Eventually, I saw this woman head out. Unfortunately, the only recourse I had was to give the verbal lashing of her life! Blocking handicap access is not cool!

Nuts to "settling matter in peace." These self-entitled people deserve every dent that there vehicles get for parking where it's obvious they shouldn't. Good job, revenge takers!

I used to go a bar/club - it was at the end of this dead end street. A new Cadillac was parked in the middle of the alley street- preventing all other cars from leaving. It was there all night, even past 2AM. While having a smoke out back, I watched as somebody broke the window and many people proceeded to urinate into this car.

It was before the time of video cameras, but my grandmother had parked her Morris Mini Minor outside of a pub to talk with a nearby local person, when she came back, cars had blocked her exit at both ends. At about the same time, a group of four burly blokes in the pub had noticed her predicament, and came out and lifted her and her car, whilst she was still in it, up and out onto the road where she could drive off! My grandmother probably weighed 90kgs or so, not sure how much the Morris Mini Minor weighed, but she sure was grateful for the assistance of the locals from the pub!

Parked along the street in a legal spot once. When came back out there were 4 motorcycles blocking me in, 2 in front and 2 in the rear, right up to my bumper. Yes they took their keys but did not lock their handlebars. Solution: Pull clutch and push the bikes to the other side of the block. LOL

I completely understand the cement truck dumping in the cars blocking its path. When a cement mixer is rotating, it is mixing concrete that will set up on an uninterruptable schedule. The concrete MUST come out of the truck on time or it will set up in the mixer, destroying the truck.

In addition to my other comment, my other pet-peeve is when people use the "handicapped" parking space just because they borrowed Grandma's placard...or worse yet...don't even have a placard or sticker at all !! While shopping the other day, a young girl and her boyfriend pulled into a handicap spot. When I waved my handicap placard at them, she looked at me with a "so what?" face. I did confront them in the store in a "nice" way and explained that SOME people actually NEED those spaces. 🥺 Her boyfriend told me to go F*#@ myself. Now that I'm matured, I didn't let the air out of their tires (though I did park in front of them to block them in and forcing them to have to wait). Sadly, I honestly think a lot of this is a generational thing where younger people feel it is okay to insult "boomers" like me.

I have arthritis in both knees. Nothing parked next to me while shopping. I returned to my car door could only open 6-8 inches. After waiting a while, a security guard came by took off vest & moved my car for me. I didn't destroy persons car, but was tempted to or even write a note. The guard was "my" evenings angel. I wanted to see HOW skinny the person was that intentionally parked that car so close.

It may be bad parking but it is no excuse for criminal damage. Two wrongs don't make a right>

Where I used to work a man simply parked in the middle of the parking lot. He didn't last long befor being let go.

There was a shopping centre that had a 2 hr parking limit. If you went over that time limit, they used to put a huge sticker on the front windshield that was hard to remove. Not over the driver's side though. But where it wouldn't be in the way. Still got the message through. That should be mandatory I think. It would be a great way to deter people.

I know a person who smears dog shit on the handles of the doors of the cars that are parked so they block the pavement. It is not such a spectacular measure as these, but I bet it is quite effective, as the driver will surely remember what he can expect if he parks on that spot again.

I had to repo a car once and as i was loading it the lady came out with a hammer and started knocking out the windows and putting dents in the trunk lid and roof.....and i kid you not she came out to the car lot later that day with the 4 months of car payments she owed and demanded we give her a new car. We didnt even give her the car we repod back...and we made her insurance pay to fix it.

If you park illegally, suffer the consequences. One time I parked in front of a friend's house. At 5 pm it suddenly hit me the road I was parked on was a clearway from 4-7pm. I ran out only to see a parking officer writing me up. I apologised, took the ticket without arguing and moved my car. The parking officer thanked me for not being abusive and that was the end of it. I was lucky not to get towed as that is also an option for parking in a clearway zone.

And this is why I only park in marked spots. I like my car. I will go out of my way to make sue where I am parking is legal and no issue to anyone else. Plus I park away from the doors of the shops, because everyone wants to park real close. I park at the back and get plenty of spots and generally no one beside me.

I personally believe this is no way to handy any of these situations. You don't know why they parked there. Or they didn't know. If they did know I do think they should pay for their actions to an extent. But puting there cars in a dump truck is just so mean. Those cares might even have sentimental value. Or they parked there to get in the hospital. So many factors could be in the equation. And giving them punishment without looking or telling or caring what actually happened is just unwise.

Police laid "leaving the scene of an accident" charge. Driver was acquitted on his defence based upon it being completely intentional, not an accident.

Years ago, I lived in a high-rise Condo. I also had a reserved spot in the basement garage! One evening I came home and found that someone had parked in my spot! So I called a towing company. I showed the Tow Driver my ownership documents which included the number of my spot! A couple of days later, I found an expletive-laden note on my car with threats of pressing charges and lawsuits. Nothing else came of it!😆😆

Someone parked in my driveway. I parked in my driveway right behind her blocking her in. I then went to my neighbour’s and we watched her return. It wasn’t the first time she had done this so many times. On my run in and others picking the children up from school. If confronted she was abusive and really nasty. All the while swearing and threatening to punch your lights out. We sat in my neighbour’s bedroom giggling like kids as we watched her banging on my front door. She was shouting and swearing and calling the owner of the car parked behind her,some really terrible names. Then someone called the Police. She showed them how some scumbag had blocked her in. They thought she lived there and someone had parked behind her. There faces were brilliant as she shouted that she was the one blocked in. I decided I had better move my car lol the Police asked me if I lived there? I said yes and this happened on a regular occurrence. They gave her a real dressing down. She went ballistic threatening them and me. I moved my car she got in hers. She slung it in reverse slammed her foot down hard,speed off the run in across the road into another car. The children were not hurt luckily. But she had to call her husband to get the children as she was arrested. It wasn’t her day she was over the alcohol limit , dangerous driving, driving without due care and attention. No tax or mot luckily for the person she hit there was insurance. I will hastily say I didn’t want her to suffer that much and l felt so guilty. In court she was banned from driving for a year. Had points added to her licence and a huge fine. I felt so ashamed but the police pointed out she was drunk and driving with children in the car. Not all of them hers. We never ever saw her again.
