yep that's true but see the bowler's foot while delivering the ball!! half part was exceeding the crease line and the other half part was in the air. So yep that's clear No Ball.

Its was not a No ball for Virat Kohli but yes it was a No ball for Russel. Because VK is already out of the crease and after the crease the was below waist height so he can get it as Full Toss. But for Russel he was almost close to wicket then also ball is going above is chest so it is a clear NO BALL..

No problem with this. And I think virat's reaction was not baseless. For his vision it was impossible as he didn't over stepped Main question is , if any bowler throws a ball 80km/h, it goes up 30 feet and then bounce on the pitch rightly . Would it also be given a legal deliver ???

Basic law of physics…beamer ball will take a parabolic path and not straight line…as per third umpire technology it shows a straight line which is incorrect.

Read ICC rules, it is calculated from batting crease only. There is no rule asking players to take stance outside the crease. A player should only play from the crease, stumping is in place for this reason only. Rules are common and it cannot be altered for each player's convenience.

@@venkateshn9700 see MCC rule too it says the same and the height is calculated for a batsman at the popping crease and not where he stands. Favorite or non favorite player, rules are rules brother. The third umpire followed the rules. No point in showing aggression on umpires. For DK it was only 2 cm difference 2 matches back but no one questioned it... Kohli is just another player, not God or super human. Arjun Tendulkar is part of an ipl teen what about the son of an auto driver who scored 1009 in 327 balls

What's with this "technology can be wrong" BS??? What's the point of having a DRS review if technology can never be trusted? It's true technology can produce wrong results sometimes, but in this case. Calculating the ball's trajectory from footage is just basic math. At the crease line, the ball is demonstrably below Kohli's measured waist line. Current rules state it has to be at the crease line, so the umpires' decision was objectively correct. Otherwise, batsmen could just advance to the middle of the pitch and claim no-ball.

That wasn't a NO BALL by any means. VK was standing outside the crease. Ball would have dipped down if he was inside the crease. It's a fair delivery as per ICC rules.

Bhai height of virat sir-5 ft 9 inch=1.73meter. Waist height of a human is less than 50 percent of the whole height. So waist height of virat sir would be less than 0.87 meters. Even if we add the shoe height it would not be more than 0.90 meter. But I don't know which technology is showing his waist height 1.04 mete. According to technology virat sirs height is 2.08 meter which is 6ft 9 inches

Don't over react on his reaction. Many players have done it. Ponting has done it, Fleming has done it and many more. Btw could have done a better analysis. Yes Kohli was outside the crease, but look at his toes. he is at least few inches above the ground. Technology alone cannot be trusted. Look at the field reality, its a beamer, high, and mostly difficult to Judge/Play and can be dangerous for batsman too.

First of all virat was on toes and even then the ball was above waist height it means that assume if virat is inside the crease then ball will be dipping but even after dipping it will above the waist so in both the cases virat was safe and it was definitely a noball also it was beamer by the bowler inside the body so the edge has to be given to the batter .

I think you're mistaking hips for waist....that ball is on his hip level while he's outside his crease so if he was in his crease that would have just been a full toss and the current system is based on individual player waist height measurements so being on your toes doesn't really matter

Technology is showing that ball is dipping it doesn't mean it was actually dipping that much as it was shown.he was on his toes and still ball was above his waist at the time ball hit on the bat it was clearly a no ball. Neither it was hitting on stumps because height was too much even technology is showing that much dip in the ball.
