Kalli, I have to say.... your videos have inspired me. As I told you in my "tips post" a couple videos ago, my nursing school experience was destroyed by the evil gossip machine. I will reveal, that I left half way through. (One of the biggest regrets of my life.) It took a long time for me to heal from that. I haven't really had the courage to re-apply anywhere since. But I moved to Seattle recently... and decided... it was time to move on from the pain. I have found your videos very refreshing and positive. And those two factors in themselves, have contributed to my healing process in a big way. They helped me look past the pain, and regain said courage. I was able to remember how exciting it was in the beginning. I wanted to say thank you for that. You never know when you are going to touch someone in a life changing manner, right? So yeah... I decided to take a different approach this time. I applied to a Surgical Technologist program up here, and was just accepted for this Fall. 🤗 It was one nail-biter of a process, but totally worth it when getting that acceptance letter in my inbox. Thanks for being a positive influence on the healthcare community. Your hard work, demonstrated through your plethora of videos, is a testament to the kind of nurse you will turn out to be. And ya' never know! Might end up working in the same OR one day! But whatever the future holds, I do wish you a stellar experience in nursing school. I hope we have fun together in these new programs of ours! And......... I'm super glad you had fun on your trip. But.... be honest with us Kalli... how much did you think about starting nursing school, while you were on vacation? Lol 😎 Thank you Kalli.
