Had some fun and decided to leave the Sony cameras at home, and got most clips on Sunday but a few from Saturday.
I wanted to see if anything halfway decent would come out of filming with my iPhone 14 Pro instead of the Sony FX3 & FX30. I think the right tool for the job is absolutely necessary but, a lot of it comes down to who's doing the filming and the lighting but, I need a little more practice/time with the iPhone to make it good. There’s potential for using this fun way of filming but, I’m definitely not trading in the Sony cameras for iPhones lmao.
I didn't use "cinematic mode" though because it missed focus a LOT and I didn't film in ProRES because I would have to offload footage every 20 minutes and that was impractical on this fun little project. Honestly I wasn't able to get much ground footage, unfortunately, since I didn't have my team of camera men around the track, it is what it is haha.
