Florida hung on to advance to the second round of the 2021 NCAA tournament. Nahiem Alleyne's three pointer at the end of regulation sent the game to OT, but Colin Castleton and the Gators were too much for the Hokies to overcome. Watch the full extended highlights here.

I hope that Coach Young remembers for a long time the two bigs fouling out back-to-back early in OT. I have a feeling that, if UVA's Coach Bennet had been in Young's shoes, Tony would have taken at least one out for a few minutes before re-inserting them in the final two minutes, as the game was still close. I wish that Aluma was as effective as he had been in the UVA game, as his versatility caught my attention. Mutts, on the other hand, has played consistently beyond many people's expectations. A reminder to UVA's Huff, Hauser & Murphy: You three need to impose your presence (height, length, inside scoring, offensive rebounding, etc.) near the basket. Whenever I see you three shooting beyond the arc, I keep thinking that you're wasting something that can't be taught: your height. IMAGINE IF UVA HAD 3 JUSTYN MUTTS !!!

University of Florida or the NCAA should have suspended Omar Payne for INTENTIONALLY elbowing Tennessee Vols John Fulkerson TWICE in the head resulting in a concussion and a facial fracture. An apology doesn't mean anything, even if sincere, when you have seriously injured an opponent and compromised the other team's chances in the NCAA tournament.

I am a basketball fan and believe in good sportsmanship. I am not racist and never thought this was a racist action. I just watched the Florida basketball game and they stated that Coach White has decided not to play Omar Payne for the rest of the year. That restored my respect for Coach White. I live in Tennessee but am a native of Georgia. I am a 79 year old woman who enjoys college basketball, baseball and football. I enjoy any game that the players play hard, respect the referees even when they don't agree with them, and are good role models for the younger kids. Some of you accuse me of making my statement because I am a Tennessee fan. That is not why I made the statement - I think Omar Payne intentionally injured another player, and i would have felt the same way no matter who did it! I plan to enjoy the NCAA championship games and hope that all of you do also!

Castleton should have stayed with Michigan. He plays a bit soft still, coach Howard would have taught him a few things.

He's been great for the Gators with real opportunity. Michigan sat him for two seasons and wasted his time. Castleton made the smartest decision of his life.

Good finish from duruji but that was an offensive foul. Extended his left arm to free up space. Aluma had his arms straight up. Shame one of vt's best players was done cuz of that. Young was prob asking white what he thought about the refs 🤣 there were a lot of bad calls both ways
