Virginia pulled off the massive upset win over No. 10 North Carolina on the road, 31-27. The Cavaliers were led by running back Mike Hollins, who accounted for 3 of his team’s 4 touchdowns on the night. WR Malik Washington also had a game to remember, as he accounted for 115 of Tony Muskett’s 208 passing yards and scored the other Cavaliers touchdown. Tar Heels QB Drake Maye threw for 347 yards and 2 touchdowns in the loss, while Omarion Hampton had 112 yards on the ground.

Overall the highlights are compiled pretty well, but take @9:07 for an example of what could be improved: UNC is down 4 in the 4th quarter, 1st down on their own 20, and gets stopped for no gain. Next play shown is UVA getting stopped on 4th down?? It’s very jarring, as UNC’s aforementioned possession is such a critical one. They must have gone for it on 4th down, but I shouldn’t have to assume that. That’s a massive stop for UVA-why show a 1st and 10 stop instead of a 4th and whatever stop? Would have made much more sense to the viewer. Sincerely, a guy who watches a ton of sports highlights.

I love how everyone says UNC is overrated. Until last night they’ve only beat every power 5 team they’ve played by a margin of 18+ Duke’s only impressive win was Clemson and UNC beat the brakes off the team that just beat Clemson (yeah the 10 point ending was a lot closer than the game was, UNC coasted for most of the fourth quarter) Does UNC deserve to stay there this week, not when you don’t show up to play. But they can easily work their way back with the remaining schedule.

@@knowledgerobinson9076 based on a composite college football power ranking which takes the average rankings of opponents played UNC sits at #8 on strength of schedule while Duke sets 61. So if anyone is over ranked I would argue that it is Duke. I guarantee you Miami didn’t play down. UNC came out and steam rolled them with 24 unanswered points then coasted with backups the remainder of the game. Late scores by Miami are the only thing that gave the appearance of a close game. And UNC didn’t play particularly well which shows their upside.

I kinda think the flea-flicker is outdated now. That play use to get receivers wide open for tds, not just 15 to 20 yards downfield. At least it seems like it's been awhile since I saw an amazing flea-flicker.

If you're referring to the interception with 26 seconds left, note that there was an official standing right next to the play, who immediately ruled it a catch. Plus, it was reviewed and upheld. Blame UNC, not the officials.

So tired of hearing about how good Carolina is and so tired of hearing about how good Drake Maye is!! Tonight absolutely shows that neither is true!! Just like I've been saying all season so far, The OL sucks. the OC sucks and the defense sucks!! And Maye is not the QB that everyone has been saying he is , all along!! He has made some good plays over the last 2 seasons and he has made a lot of bad plays over the last 2 seasons!! He is average at best, nothing more nothing less!! And Mack is a good recruiter and a terrible old coach!! Stop bragging on these players when they make 1 good play after 25 bad plays!! This team is exactly like last season's team!! Get some lucky wins in the beginning and never improve any at all from start to finish!! Continually get worse every game!! How is that even possible?? 2 seasons in a row that mimic each other to the tee!! Will be lucky to win any more games this season just like last season!! So frustrating to watch!! Ranked 10th and will not even be ranked in the top 25 in 2 weeks!! My prediction!! Lose to the 2nd worse team in the ACC!! All we can do from here on out is make every team we play have a better record!! So disappointing!! Just saying!! Have a great day!!

Losing to Tech that year put a cap on one of the biggest collapses in College football. Today, Tech performed an ass beatdown in Charlottesville Tech 55 Orange Zimas 17.
