In this video I go in depth on the core principles you need to succeed as an assassin in teamfights and in League of Legends solo queue! I deliver detailed examples as well as many other important notes to apply to your assassin of choice, specifically using Evelynn and Rengar as examples. Learn how to carry and climb with smart teamfights and you'll reach your end of season goals in no time!
I mainly use Evelynn as she is my main, but you should have no problem climbing the ranked ladder using this teamfighting guide to become a better League of Legends jungler!

I just stumbled on your content and love it alot. I'm a one trick eve climbing through low to mid ELO. this video helped alot even though I think I am already pretty decent at handling myself. However I have been finding it alot harder with the new rune changes to pick between Zombie ward, Ghost poro, or eyeball collection in the domination tree all of them are super useful. could you possibly help me out here with what you run since the domination and sorcery changes?

Oh, good to know someone else mains Evelynn, i was searching for some that can really prove they main her, and i found you, also, good video, it really helped to improve team fighting with a "single target" assasin, like Eve or Rengar

3 Things I garnered from this video: 1.- Always flank. 2.- Always have an escape plan. 3.- Never go full steam ahead if its not worth it(to burn out ultis, spells and only if your team is ahead as a whole most times). Thanks man. I wanted to revise my Pantheon and K6 strats.

When i im behind with Evelynn, and i know i can't oneshot anyone, i like playing like a "defensive" assassin. I stay close to our main damage source, and follow the support's 1st rule: The best way of protecting your carry, is killing theirs. So when someone approachs to my mage or adc, y put the W on him and wait for him to engage, then i just throw everything i have to the marked enemy (ussualy a fighter or a semitank) and make him attack me while the damage from my protected ally finish him off. Then, i just let the rest of the team finish the remaining enemies...

U hv no idea how thankful i am, it is now 3:06am in Hong Kong and i was struggling how to play good with Evelynn. I really appreciate this video! Especially since I want to get good with Evelynn, and it helps reassure me that I was playing Assassins relatively correct. I go in and get the kill(s) I need to, but we still end up losing it kinda sucks. You should do a video about tanky junglers like Sejuani or Ornn, because sometimes I wonder if I should peel when I can destroy the back line, or just go ham! Again keep up the good work, this series is definitely something I'll keep an eye on for sure!

So if you can't find a way to flank (i.e. on Howling Abyss) is the best option to always use your spells on the closest target, wait for CDs, repeat?

I wanted to ask this on your Evelynn video, but why don't you Whiplash onto the Big Raptor and then use your Q to clean up? You seem to always simply Q the small ones, rather than trying to get all your Q Darts onto the Big Raptor. I was wondering if that was intentional or you just do it without really thinking about it

8:52 please put more emphasis into "you need to be much smarter about how you engage" but apart from that a very good video. I often see my fed assassins just run in because they are fed and want to brute force a win by them selfs.

That's huge! I love playing evelynn, but most of my games look like that: i get some jungle cs, go roam as hell and get a ton of kills (or ton of deaths, happens less now). Then teamfight happens and all my precious prey walks around in 5-group meatball that i can't attack

electrocute/sudden/eyeball/relentless/celerity/gathering the storm. I have to do an update video. Harvest fine too if you're able to farm/gank efficiently and avoid enemy jungler invades if they're stronger early.

do you think that other assasins like rengar and shaco are good macthups for eve because i destroy on shaco but on rengo the eve always gets fed

Rengar is good vs Evelynn if the Rengar knows he can beat her hard pre 6 and knows how to snowball with consistent invading pressure. It's a pretty tight matchup in terms of the 1v1 later on.. who sees who first/is more fed. Tbh, I don't like facing Rengars as Evelynn :P Shaco is a more direct counter to Evelynn, yes.

How to apply this to Nidalee? She cannot pick when to engage easily, she has to land a spear on a good target in order to get that extended pounce and empowered takedown. I often find myself just hurling spears trying to get a good hit while my team just dies. Also, if I get in, I can’t get out. And unlike champions like Rengar, I don’t have much burst after my initial combo on the first target. I need another passive mark on someone to do good damage.

With the coming nerfs to burst damage in runes, and items (specifically Duskblade) I think it's much more attractive to play as an AP assassin especially in the jungle now...or jut play Kindred which I'm not a fan of... So I guess I gotta brush up on my evelyn, diana and ecko skills...great video btw...but I guess people that have played so long with jungle assassins already know the concepts of a proper flanking maneuver and hopefully most of them aren't like that random Kha'zix player who still loses even though he has a "pro level" KDA...maybe he was just leeroy jenking...lol...

Always Q. Tbh, W second is better too for me. Just for the range increase and the stun duration increase, plus more MR shred and burst damage. E will do insane damage no matter what. E second is more common these days and is still a good option, but W has more utility for me for zoning and long engages (also has a slightly better win rate) but that's preference for now :)

Try this: Max Q, then max W if enemy have alot of MR build to reduce their MR by 35%. E max if you want raw damage on those squishy champs that don't have MR.

If you build full flat mpen, max E would be better. If you build full ap, W is better.

I have made an in depth one already: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/h7eofqeiubyRn4U.html The gameplay is all relevant just note the pinned comment about her ult, and then items: Runic - lich - dcap - void/morellos/zhonyas should be your core items and for updated runes I take: Electrocute, Sudden Impact, Eyeball, Relentless Hunter, Celerity/Gathering Storm. Waterwalking good too. I also have two other dedicated gameplay videos for her made since there! hopefully that can't help you out. I will see about doing a fully updated one after damage rune nerfs come next patch and we see where she lands :)
