Virtisse Pointe Shoes: First Impressions Review!

Took a while to edit and upload, but it's finally here!
In this video I talk about my first impressions of Virtisse's Apogee and Verve pointe shoes - their differences, how they feel when worn, etc.

This was super helpful, thanks for posting! I tried the Enigma FX a while ago but switched to Gaynors; honestly I like the look of the toe box on Virtisse better so the Verve might be worth a shot.

So happy this helped! Yeah, the Virtisse toe boxes look quite sleek imo. I'm also curious about the Enigma though and have been meaning to try them as well - what did you think of them?

@@theredwitchgirl They felt more supportive than the Gaynors, but the toe box profile was definitely not enough room for me! Even trying removing toe pads was wayyy too tight. If you don't need too high of a profile, they could be a good fit for you!

Thanks for your video! Curious- Which one did you end up liking more? I’m currently in apogees and the roll through is heaven, but I feel I do need a slightly more tapered box. This box really widens quickly upon break-in.

Hi! Thank you as well :) I definitely liked the fit of the Verve's box better for my feet. In my experience it's a tiny bit more tapered on the inside, especially at the tip; at least that's how my feet are feeling it. And yes I agree with what you said about the Apogee. Regarding roll through, I felt that the Verve was a bit more malleable as well, especially in the shank so I personally liked that a bit more. Hope this helps!
