Just because Tekken 7, DOA 6, and Soul Calibur 6 are newer games it doesn't automatically mean they are better. You mentioned "new gen polish" but VF5's mechanics are definitely more polished and refined than all 3 of those games. Also graphics have nothing to do with how good a fighting game is either.

But i just dont like it when people hate on tekken and say a franchise that might've started the 3d fighting game genre but just couldn't keep up with so many other fighting games is better. I love virtua fighter but the sales numbers speak for themselves. Virtua fighter is NOT and never will be better than tekken. And if you think so, you're a definite loser.

@Ijustcametogetsomethingtoeat PS5 is a unicorn. I was lucky to find an XBOXSX and so far, the console has exceeded my expectations. Multiplats play slightly better on XBOXSX. But I hope that by the time VF6 is around, we will all have PS5s.

@@jamesyu5212 I have also checked df and many other KZfaq comparisons. By looking for REVillage, Nier, MassEffect Legendary and Scarlet Nexus Demo, I see that XBOXSX can offer higher resolution on quality mode than PS5. Also on some games, performance mode can offer 120FPS, that is if your TVset supports it. You can look by yourself these videos.

They aren't very good actors? Or perhaps they were given poor direction? Either way, the voices in the Virtua Fighter series has always been cringey.

Well Jacky is definitely a good beginner character for sure. I'd say Brad and Lau aren't too hard to get a hang of either.

@@isaaccooper862 Don't start with Akira fresh out the gate man, lol. He's one of the hardest characters in the game to use properly. Some of the inputs for his moves are a little tough, it's not impossible to learn him of course but i wouldn't START there as a beginner. That being said tho he's probably the best character in the entire game if you master him. He is powerful and has a lot of ways to break through the opponents defense. Jeffrey is actually pretty easy to learn, he doesn't have a lot of demanding inputs or anything. He's a good beginner character. He does a lot of damage with simple combos and strikes. Sarah is pretty fast and has a lot of quick kicks. She's agile and is a heavily offensive character, so if you love to be aggressive she's a good pick. She's all about harassing your opponent. She's a pretty good beginner character as well. Honestly can't say much on Pai since i've never really used her a bunch. I will say that she's fast and has some annoying moves and counters, lol. She can also crouch throw, which most character can't do.

Not really, when you look at the big picture. VF5FS is still one of the best balanced FG’s still to this day and animation wise since a lot of it was motion captured, looks great even today over a decade later. Final showdown was also released around the height of the first FG resurgence in 09’ thanks to SFIV and Tekken 6. So them releasing it now when FG’s are back to being popular seems to be that Sega was always monitoring trends. I’m sorry if I come off offensive.

To be honest, I grew tired of Johnny after a while. There's a point when you hear just too many dad jokes. I would have loved Sub-Zero's voice instead. Steven Blum smooth voice never gets old.

@@djhero0071 It is a japanese video, they just put Sarah's VA to do the voice over for us. All of their videos are like this too Its sad dood, being a fan of SEGA getting rekt on a daily basis. After work tomorrow, I'm all over it. They're gonna slow drip that DLC too. The cosmetics aren't all ready yet. In japan they got shirts. What does sega usa got? 6 pages of SANIC shirts. They got alex friggin' kid but no VF shirts.
