in the right sampler window, when you click the button with 6 squares on the right side, you can edit every single sample by right-click them -> sample editor. you can set the volume gain there very easily and save them, sort them, colour them, loop them...

Hi, I love your videos and they have been very helpful for me. I was wondering if you could tell me how use the Korg nanokontrol2 knobs to map the sampler volume controls to independently control each sample. I've tried every volume command I can find and the onscreen controls work all "choppy" for lack of a better term.

See that little button with the 6 squares in it to the right of "Audio FX"? Click that and you can change the volume of the samplers.

Entry level DJer here so I have a question or 2. Can you do a short video of this answer you provided below? No, but you can program a button to lower the volume to a set amount with one click. Open up a custom button, type Sample_Volume 4 20% this example will lower the 4th pad to 20 percent volume. You can link multiple with the '&' symbol.

Great tip... can you also map the custom button to a controller? DDJ SX have a sample volume controller.

Hello, Echo papa... This is a great video for controlling the sampler volume of sampler audio files but....for video samplers ..it is not good at all... It seems that VDJ...makes the video samplers fade in and out depending of where the sampler volume control knob is set .. I have spoken to VDJ About and they say the newest version is designed like that ... Is there a work around for that?

No knob, just touch pad on computer on this.Meaning no knob that turns up down.Nothing works.Vid here is useless.
