YES I WIN!! If I use a playlist folder and not the virtual folder, is possible to move the songs for priority. Yes!! If you click on artist bunker the priority will change in artist list but, if you click the right mouse button, is possible to click "reset sort order" and comeback to your priority list. Wow!! Really cool

Does 'set tags auto' work after I already played my tunes in other words if I set it to yes now will it begin to write info to my mp3 tags or will it only write on first play or load?

In Karaoke, will self tag auto if changed to yes, will it change the cdg file as well in the id3 file?

This was helpful but there are some things i still have a question about. Even tho i ticked yes on both, VDJ 8 isnt getting the artist names or the ratings which i have taken the time to set accordingly on iTunes library. How do i fix that? thanks

Great tutorial. But do you know how (using version 8) to delete unnecessary entries in the genre list? I've got so many in the 'Edit' list that are not even genres.

Same with the comments and stuff. Like how to i make vdj read the files as they are on Itunes? I made sure that Itunes saves a file on iTunes itself. still

Ciao Echo Papa, do you know if exist a mode to move the songs position in the virtual Folder? I would like to decide the priority of my songs set like in automix folder. Could be perfect can change the title like 01 - Triller, but if I change the title all triller songs in virtual folders will change in 01 - triller. I don't want to cope triller 3 times i 3 different virtual folder. Maybe exist simply a mode to order the songs priority. Please help me.

Great tutorial. Thanks. I was wondering if there is a way to set one of the fields in an ID3 tag to a field in the Virtual DJ tag? For example I use the Sub-Title Field in the ID3 tag like the Remix field. Can I get Virtual DJ to write back the Remix field to the ID3 Sub-Title field?

I have never seen a way to pull id3 tags from a music file for VDJ other than the tags that are in the editor. You can add your own tags on VDJ, by selecting all of the tracks you want to add the subgenre to, then batch adding a tag. You can use one of the tags at the bottom of the tag editor. Those are not connected to anything in the id3 tag, and only sit in the VDJ database. Hope that helps.

In vd7 the tags for music,video&karaoke where in different colors. vd8 is all in grey colors. only icons like 🎵🎤🔊 can you help me.I run a karaoke show and it helps when it's in color icons! Please help. thanks love the videos. Good job😁

I am trying to correct my song's key in the tags. I analyzed the songs in a 3rd party system so that the tags of the songs have updated in iTunes but not in virtual DJ. Is there a way to edit a lot of tags at once so that I don't have to go though each song?

Just use VDJ to scan all your tracks. it has a built in key scanner and it will fill in all your keys for you automatically.

Hi Echo Papa..Can you help me please!!!..I spend hours last night taging my files and for some reason didn't save them all.. this morning I open my virtual dj and all the files was reading exacltly the same as the beginning..
