Virtual Hike at Fire Wave Trail, Valley Of Fire Nevada

Күн бұрынThe Fire Wave Trail is located in Valley Of Fire State Park, Nevada on Mouse Tank Road. The trail head parking GPS coordinates are
36º29'17.9"N 114º31'42.9"W
This easy hike should take 15-20 minutes each way at a normal pace. The trail to the Fire Wave is .6 Miles one way so a total of 1.2 miles round trip. Even though this trail is fairly easy and well marked be sure to bring plenty of water and wear sunblock since you are exposed to the Nevada heat. The trail is open from sunrise to sunset and you should be aware of potential rattlesnakes in the area although it is rare to actually encounter one. This trail is well marked with poles which have reflectors on them and the path is beaten in as well.

Cool! I'll be visiting Las Vegas early November and plan on checking out Valley of Fire as well as Zion National Park. Will probably also shoot some videos for my channel. Thanks for sharing this and Elephant Rock's virtual hikes!
