Glad to have become a new sub during Mkhulu Nsingiza's interview. I like the way this podcast is taking shape of its own and that our melanated people are "spiritually waking up" because we are in the Age of Aquarius(Ma'at in Kemetic principles - Age of knowing that your power resides within and not out there and no more Believing in miracles, You are the miracle). Guys we do not need to re- invent the wheel our ancestors did the ground work, we only need to make it relevant for our situation and our time qha nje. The problem is that we got sidetracked and hoodwinked and it is TIME that we get back on track, instead of just "talking" about working together - Unity) let us start pulling & putting all these ideas into implementation (Action, action, more action). Siyabonga kakhulu for umsebenzi eniwenzayo Brothers wokukhumbuza isizwe esiNsundu ukuthi we are walking Kings and Queens, God's and Goddesses here on the Earth let us reclaim our power and that we can be, do and have so much more!

What transpired during your awakening?
@DjWebaba
@DjWebaba 2 жыл бұрын
I was at my lowest spiritually, my other colleague DJ friend had just died the very same person that inspired e to become a Dj. I was popularly known Dj in my township everybody knew my name but i didn't know who i was deeply, i was really questioning my existence. You know, and growing up being told about God but me personally i never seen or felt God. So that day i had made a commitment with myself that today if God is really there today it's me and him. Suicide was not my option cause deep down i felt that there's something very huge i still need to archive and it's not money or nice cars or anything material. So i locked myself in my room started praying and asked God to show him/It's self to me. Amazingly God truly did reply. As i was praying a voice spoke to me and said "You're my Son" i heard the voice as if someone was right next to me. And mind you i started crying as I'm praying. After hearng the voice that's when i came myseld down and i truly believed that God did speak to me. Why did i believe it was God, who spoke to me because the next morning i woke up and i felt PEACE in my heart and soul. All the worries was totally gone like totally wiped out. I felt PEACE that the world couldn't give me or nothing in the world could gimme that peace. I felt brand new again. Like i was a total new person. My spirit came back to life, fear completely left me and i felt one with everything with the universe . I felt so much power. My heart was Circumcised. All of a sudden death didn't hold power anymore. I really wanted to know exactly happened to me. Cause i was very sure that I'm no longer the same. That's when i started doing my research about our history who we are as Human beings in this planet earth and beyond the galaxies and cosmics . After this awaken i started studying like never before about the mind and our history also as black people. I'm greatful for channels like this, for Dj Sbu for bringing God Penuel on board. Cause I'm still learning and enjoying the process since I'm now on the other side of the world. That's what transpired during my awakening. 🕊

Great session today guys. Another thing I would like to add on this lobola thing is that looking at the economy of mzansi, unemployment rate keeps increasing, how will the man pay these prices when we don't even have descent incomes. Some of us are still staying with our parents or families and we about to reach age 30. How will those type of man be able to pay for lobola when they can't even pay inhlawulo for their kids

I am glad that I am a South African who understands and speaks 8 official languages and I follow conversations with ease. I may not agree with all the content shared in your podcast but I follow it because I can tolerate different opinions. I would advice you balance your interviews by also inviting different people from different schools of thoughts and different political ideologies to avoid perceived biasness. Last advice to you guys is to add subtitles for those who don't understand local languages so that they don't feel lost when you switch to vernacular because this platform grows and followed by many around the globe.

I agree kutsi most of our people don't know much about Lobola anymore or use it to suit their own greed. In my culture Lobola is paid to a wife not fiance/girlfriend. Lobola back in the day was to strengthen family relations because the Lobola is paid to the wife's family but half/part of it is converted into gifts which are sent to the groom's family & this is called Kuhlambisa where the bride's gifts (from the Lobola cows/money nowadays) are usually homemaking gifts like plates, traditional mats, blankets, etc. Lobola was standard but it can be negotiated & you don't really need to pay all of it but if you choose to pay it in installments it's encouraged as it gives the bride's family a reason to check up on the groom's family thus everyone is involved in creating a relationship with both family parties. Inhlawulo (Damages) for the mother includes the Inhlawulo for the child/children thus you can call them by their rightful surname & when she gets married later her Lobola will be reduced. This is just a general explanation since going deep includes other customs which I only know in my mother tongue.

Great conversation Brothers. I think the conversation on marriage, culture and ilobolo is so crucial. And I think you Brothers have done well in really digging deep, but what I am noting is the absence of these very Elders who are demanding we pay ilobolo for their daughters. And I think this thing isazosishaya bafethu, please bring the Elders to address these issues specifically in depth. Often when Elders come on to platforms to discuss history and culture they will tell us about Afrika's historical greatness, Khemet, etc. Personally I am less interested in that. Let's have the difficult conversations on how building families works in 2023 and beyond. We can't keep expressing our confusion and frustration as the youth and the Elders are not responding to these issues. It's as though now we are left to figure out these things ourselves, and it's not working guys. Our Elders need to address us on these issues. I am myself dealing with issues around my child born out of wedlock and it's more complicated because the woman is from a different culture. How do we navigate such issues. If the Elders who insist on the proper Afrikan way of doing things are saying nothing on the practical issues of daily life then as far as I'm concerned the history they keep sharing with us falls flat because we are living in the here and now. It will be difficult to find relevance on these histories they keep sharing with us. Khemet is fine but what does that mean in terms of a man starting a life with a woman in 2023? We need Truth. We need those deeper conversations. Please.

Great conversation gentlemen but I have a problem with your views on marriage and children. I think the way you guys perceive marriage and two parent households is a little bit flawed. Marriage is primarily about kids (not love) and raising those kids to be well balanced adults holistically. A lot of societal issues such as school drop outs, mental issues, crime, gangsterism, etc. Are a result mostly of fathers who are not present in their children's lives because a father brings tough love and delayed gratification to children which is pivotal in a child's life, boys especially. For a child to have a fighting chance in this life they need both parents to raise that child in one household. So marriage comes in handy in that context. Marriage, a contract that forces individuals to keep their word of loving each other, be there for each other in this extremely difficult life and to remain together for the well being of children even when they do not feel like it at times. Because human beings are inherently evil and without such contracts they are bound to neglect their responsibilities, especially men as we witness it through the number of single mothers we have as a nation. As long as we have kids to raise, marriage will always be relevant until we find another system that will benefit our children and ensure that they become well balanced and responsible adults, until then marriage is important and the only solution. People undermine the economic consequences of sex hence they talk about marriage being irrelevant yet those same men continue having sex with our sisters and leave them to raise children by themselves. A father who's not present, even if they do provide financially, they are failing us as a nation. If you're not willing to get married and stay with your baby mama to raise that kid then DON'T HAVE KIDS, PERIOD! Again thanks for the great conversation guys imfundo ayikhulelwa, give thanks 🙌🏾🙏🏽

I feel lobola works if the family is wealthy in business and is from a royal family. Coz we know that Rich wealthy family want to expand in wealth so when poor black people demand lobola and my question is is the woman or man safe in the relationship, coz we know about gender based volience another thing is when divorce happens will the bride's family pay the money back?. I totally agree that in this economy where will you pay R50 ks for lobola on top of that a white wedding? You want to begin a relationship with debt? ... I don't believe in lobola ..it only makes sense in wealthy and royal families who want to marry and expand their wealth with other rich and influential family ...but for a common man the needs to be an alternative option..coz times are hard
