This visualization is the seventh of a series depicting various OPFOR tasks for the Virtual OPFOR Academy. This visualization depicts an insurgent hybrid threat executing the OPFOR tactical task of execute the defense a complex battle position.
This module is designed for company level units assigned an OPFOR mission during home station training. By the end of this module you should have an appreciation for the subtask execution of defending a complex battle position.
The BLUFOR representation is only to provide context to OPFOR actions, and is not intended to represent current BLUFOR TTPs.

I love these videos, OEC G&V please make more! i tried finding the page on facebook (used link on the channel page) but the facebook page gave an error saying the page does not exist anymore as I read the comments I've seen how much these videos help current members of the military and ones panning on joining (like me) and would just like to say thank you for creating the videos they're informative and instructive to anyone even those without any military knowledge just like for you guys to know you're work is incredibly appreciated and to please make more! Videos like this in an age of technology where anyone can access them, videos like this are extremely helpful and important for the public and a great refresher for any in service member! (sorry for spamming this on all your videos just want to make sure you guys know you're doing an incredibly important public service! and that its appreciated)

Would be interesting to do a steam workshop mod that attempts to capture many of the elements of the tc7-100 series using different arma engines, starting with arma3.

Have you done a video on how special forces navigate throughout a hostile building? More specifically, the hallways and room breaching. Ps: A situation where the team has no idea on the layout of the building.

The Insurgents could have decisively defeated OPFOR if they completely destroyed the bridge when a crossing was attempted. Thus cutting off a Third of their Force. Then they could have simply held the main attack back long enough to move all non support units to flanking positions inside the Town and then envelop them using a massive numerical advantage...

Destroying the bridge will make the civillian population less supportive to the insurgents. Also depending on the season and the rain the river can actually be low enough for the Strykers to move from it. Insurgents are the OPFOR by the way, the Americans are the BLUFOR. Its easy to say this while watching a scenario but its impossible to know what will happen during the battle. american company is faster than the insurgents and can flank the insurgents if they notice insurgents moving.

It doesnt jam weapon guidance, it jams coms, filling it with pre-recorded dense radio traffic. This jamming makes communicating target locations less accurate, and therefore the weapon systems are not hitting the targets

Olejnik its not Arma but VBS2, essentially a military version of arma 2 with more realism and assets - but a lot is re-used from the arma series
