Virtual Pinball - Fix Sluggish Pinup Popper VLC Playback

Күн бұрынQuick tip on how to get rid of sluggish playback on your virtual pinball machine when using pinup popper. Go into the VLC player within your pinup system folder. Under the settings change threads to 2 and this resolved all my playback issues.

Going into PinupPopper Config -> Emulator Settings -> and adding flag " -LessCPUthreads " helped with the Loading Screen stutters. However, it did not entirely fix the stutters, only lessened it.

This did nothing for me. Went into Visual Pinball and changed Vsync and the number below it both from 0 to 1 and it fixed all problems with choppy playback. Spent weeks trying to figure this out.

would it be wise too upgrade vlc player if there is a newer version on the net then whats in pinupopper?

I've read that it is important NOT to upgrade VLC. I can't remember why, but I've never upgraded it and have never had problems with it. As far as jerky sluggish videos go in my VPX game pup packs I simply hit F1 while that game is running and change the VSync option from 0 to 1 and that usually resolves the issue. That will help with stutter on the table too.
