most swords are not sharp in the definiton of a knife(some exceptions like katana and sabers and shortswords) so grabbing it by the blade and stabbing someone does work even if it looks wonky and will prob cut urself if not wearing gloves ^^ Edit for better clarifaction and not to upset other swordnerds :D

@@DanielsChannelNo2 Most swords are sharp, this is such a dumb thing to believe, very few don't have sharp edges and are made just for stabbing like a foil. Half sword works because swords much like any edged implement cuts by drawing, it's why you slide a knife instead of just pressing straight down to cut. Thick leather and a firm grip won't shred your hands because it bites into the leather and is lodged there by the grip. Half sword with bare hands and have a grand old time losing them when it slides.

@@0n0a0m0e i never said most are for stabbing just most arnt sharp and thats still true since most european medival swords arnt(the classic swords u imagine when thinking about knights,thats why katana and sabers excluded),just subclasses like shortswords,the cutting ability comms from the force of the swing and the drawing as u discribed urself its not sharp like a knife or katana but has a edge yes,there are still awesome exclusions in greater weapons like the greatknife,this wont make them the most tho,so the average sword u could use like that and in the greater weponclass like flameberg or german 2händer its even a valid move Edit english isnt the best hope u can understand my point :)

This is some half baked physics simulatator with no story or game play. VR has been trash and always will be a novelty. Real video games already peaked like 5 years ago. Graphics are barely getting better and games take forever to make and are buggy messes.

That's why Jedi Academy was so popular for years even when it was an ancient game, still better gameplay than any Star Wars game since. Force powers sure, but also the way your lightsaber attacks and parries were dependent on how many points you had put into saber fighting and hence how "skilled" your character was

It always puzzles me why devs make a game like this with great visuals, physics, and mechanics, but then just puts in an arena and is like, YEAH I'M DONE. Why not make a endless dungeon, or skyrim like RPG with all this great stuff? NOPE, just going to make this 1 level and call it a day....

Bc a massive world like that has been done but not only does it A. cost millions of dollars but B. makes it really hard to run without a ton of little optimizations that take a lot of time. kinda have to do it this way to make a game that looks and plays this good

@@PRiMETECHAU Cash wise whatever; time consumption so forth is a play for small devs. Some don't do this as their main job and is simply a way for them to attempt to make it a full time job but they still work 9-5's, possible family, so on.. To make something like that would take so much time when they could release a product that shows what they can do make a revenue off of it and then add more productions within the game over time or build revenue to hire people or friends that will help produce something bigger. A small man army can only do so much with two hands each.
