A good example is Amir Khan after fighting Lamont Peterson who after the fight it was discovered had done PEDS, the fight went 12 rounds and he landed 188 power punches on Khan and that definitely changed Khan as a fighter, he was noticeable different after that fight and was less defensively responsible.

Everyone should be tested, but as Wade said, it will never happen unfortunately. Too many names (probs BIG names too) at risk of getting caught. If there’s not a full explanation on how this late testing/ results happened, could even speculate that they chose him to take the fall to cover for others/ make it seem they testing everyone properly

ViruZz is definitely not the first juiced up influencer that’s fought under the PBA, and if it’s true that they just randomly pick one or two guys to be tested per card because it’s expensive, then it’s just by sheer luck that ViruZz was one of the guys picked out and caught - 2 months late as well for all it’s worth. What worries me the most with all this is the potential for life altering injuries that can occur, and as Wade said, sadly the PBA will NEVER go all in on testing due to costs, so those that indeed are on steroids can very likely keep fighting, keep winning, and never get caught while committing repeated assaults in the ring. What further worries me is if certain fighters get special treatment because they’re extremely valuable on the business side and never get selected for testing. I know people won’t ever entertain the possibility of this being a thing, but what if someone like KSI was receiving special treatment? Someone with no athletic background, 5 years at most of lifting weights for boxing, massive strength gains over the years that haven’t dropped as he’s lost weight, in fact he’s going for PRs in the gym, he always talks about his insane power and unending gas tank as well as having overdeveloped shoulders. What if someone like him is just getting away with it, and because he’s loved and the biggest name in the scene people won’t even believe it’s a possibility? Even KSI’s coach was in Chisora’s corner last night telling him to do illegal moves in the ring, so it’s clear that his camp isn’t above bending the rules for their advantage. Kenny apparently has the same disgraced doctor atm that Conor Benn did, that should be looked into as well. People like Armz and Chase who are extremely jacked with low bodyfat while fighting at heavyweight, Vitaly, etc etc Everyone needs to be tested, multiple times for each guy, randomly at any point of the day, no matter their value or their dedication to continue to fight in the scene.

The tough thing is that this is obv gonna be widespread in our scene. Influencers are on the juice just to look good, and then will get into boxing. Makes sense

The problem is most of the tests are so easy to evade, apart from VADA which isn't used much in Misfits etc as it costs 30k per fighter. I also noticed that King Kenny now uses the same disgraced Doctor which Conor Benn also worked with at the time of testing positive before the cancelled Eubank fight.. not suggesting anything, but I think the doctor should be investigated tbh.

"Alleged" doesn't mean its not confirmed. It just means they are covering their ass from being sued. It could be confirmed or not and you can still use "allegedly". Better safe than sorry, at least until everything is settled and you can say without a doubt or worry of being sued that it is no longer just "alleged".

Basically what I think should happen is the fighters decide what to do and who to fight. For example deji could ask for vada testing in his fight against Bryce or he won’t fight. Usually in the influencer boxing both guys have big negotiation power and I bet if one guy refuses the next guy he tries to fight will ask him to get vada tested still or they both will come in juicy

Due to the nature of testing for hormones as opposed to literal drugs the chances are it took too long for the blood work to be sent off and analysed by a professional for the abnormal testosterone to be picked up and the fight went ahead on the assumption Viruzz was natural as no substances like steroids were detected in the drugs test. There’s a big difference between testing for drugs and hormones, it’s likely viruzz injected straight test not took any drugs and that’s how it slipped by. In future the blood work professionals should be there in person
