I have never been to Vietnam before, so pardon my stupid question. I booked a cruise in Ha Long Bay, and will need to book round trip transportation from Hanoi old city. I found at least a half dozen travel agencies around my hotel. Is it normal to walk in a day or two ahead, and book a shuttle ride? Or should have that booked well in advance? Once I book the ride, can I trust the travel agency to actually send a shuttle to my hotel? I applied for the tourist Visa- they approved it within a few days.

People DO NOT book Viet jet from Bangalore. They are not operational and your ticket will get cancelled 1 week before travel. You can book them through Mumbai.. some issue with not getting license to operate from Banaglore .

Vietnam people are nice. They treat people nice just opposite of Thai, it’s not expensive place, hotels are budget friendly(neat clean, good hygienic hotels)

Skip this video! What a waste of 22 minutes. You dint give proper information. The cost of the day trips the exact name of places (like nin pinh) what all was covered on that day. I thought it would have been mentioned in the description atleast. But no! Just affiliate links to make more money! At @17:31 you are not even audible. Just terrible background music cutting you out. What an amateur type of video edit!
