As long as your able to get 5Gmw the data never slows or runs out. But, if your not able to get millimeter wave coverage in your area, then I guess you might need more than 50 gigs.

Let's not forget Straight Talk also has great deals as well and they use the same towers as Verizon does, I firmly believe these two prepaid carriers are definitely worth the attention.

@@realsmtam I crazy, but while this is one of the best plans I've seen on VZW towers I think unlimited Starter for US Mobile is the best value for a single unlimited line on VZW. Priority data at $29 for a single line, taxes and fees included is really clutch. The $25 Visible plan is cheaper, but it leaves out priority data. Visible Plus includes smartwatch line and unlimited hotspot and it offers more international data. Your priorities will direct which plan makes the most sense for you, but US Mobile is still super competitive. Plus I've never had Visible, but their customer service was famously bad. I've had US Mobile for 3 years, and they've been really good. They're not perfect, but the few issues I've had has gotten resolved in minutes over chat 24/7.

New Visible Plus plan is great option if you have no promos added to your account. But I am locked in on 35/month for old visible plus plan. The increase in hotspeed speed is awesome though for the new plan.

By visible not having real customer service I cancelled my account with them.there’s nothing better than talking to an actual human when an issue rises.

What did you switch to? Chances are you are paying more for service or getting less included in your plan. Customer care is a business expense for wireless companies.

I just simply disagree 10000000%. It's very very rare if at all that you have to call in for anything. But if your just flat out ignorant to phone settings and how to set things up then your right, you will have to just pay double for your service and speak to a live agent. Good luck

Yes I believe that the new plan is worth it if you do two things because I am on their old visible plus plan before this one. One if you use your WiFi a lot and if you are planning on buying or have an Apple Watch. I am still paying $35 on the visible plus plan for 41 years. But I am strongly thinking about getting the watch plan so I might switch because I am going to be paying $45 anyways. See with the old plan I have to pay $10 for the watch plan. So you see where I am coming from.

I have Visible+ and my GF has Visible base. $25 = $35 = 2 lines for $60. I still use my little router to repeat my hotspot. Watched this video at 1080p with no buffering on my Linux PC on the 2k monitor. I am just north of Ocala, Florida. This area is now in Verizon 5g, but not UW. It is plenty fast at over 100mbps. Sometimes I let video play on the phone and copy the screen over USB to my PC to get really fast streams.

I couldn't agree more and to add to what you said, with the visible plus for 45$ you get 50gb of PRIORITY DATA and I don't have any buffering either. It's just a no brainer to switch service if you ask me. Some people just love to pay more for the same exact service. Oh well ????@@r.2.d.2

@@BrokeSim Streaming test on v1 peaked at 2Gbps, settling down to 1.2Gbps on C band. Unfortunately, I’m parked at a Walmart which is an LTE area. I’ll drive down the road shortly to test v2. I’ll reboot that phone first in case they uncapped streaming since my test yesterday.

@@BrokeSim i rebooted my iPhone 15 Pro Max with v2. Did 3 tests in this UW area right now and got 1.8, 1.7 and 2.0Mbps. UGH! I’ll do hotspot tests now and report back.

The hotspot is still throttled to 5 MBPS. They somehow botched the hotspot upgrade.

If you're on a promotion plan like the 35 plus plan then that is the reason you are not seeing the upgrade. You must opt in to the new 45.00 plus plan to get the upgrade and loose your promotional price in order to see the wifi hot spot speed increase and to be able to tether more than 1 device at a time. There is no other way to get this without paying 45.00 and loose your promotional price plan

you have to upgrade to the new 45 plus plan and loose your promotional pricing. That is the only way you will see the upgrade. So you will end up paying 120.00 more per year for the faster wifi hot spot and more than 1 device tethering. Not worth it if you ask me, but that is your call.

If you are on the $35 a month plan now with Visible + 1.0 and switch or upgrade to the Visible + 2.0 you will loose your $35 monthly rate.

US Mobile is still a better value IMO, and USM has way way better customer support. You can get 100 GB of priority data, 50 GB hotspot, plus international calls, text , and a roaming esim for $37.50 if you do yearly pricing.

People that do cheap prepaid typically don't have $450 to pay for a year upfront. And Visible has deals all the time where you can get Plus for $35 a month. You got stock in US Mobile? Everyone needs are different

@@harryballsak1123 you're right. Everyone's needs are different, but I wouldn't assume most people on prepaid have trouble making ends meet. That was true when I was a kid, and you only found prepaid stores in low income urban neighborhoods. Now there are people doing fine financially who just choose prepaid for the best deal regardless of how much they have or like you said. They may not need all of the bells and whistles that come with postpaid. And the cell and customer service have gotten so good on prepaid that it brings up the question why go for postpaid besides advertising.

Definitely not, but they have an army of prepaid carriers that they OWN. They just ought to have a decent plan for everyone lol. That said, I'd argue small startups like US Mobile are that much more impressive to stand up to them single handedly.

@technicallygood7569 I know you can bypass it with a VPN, but you shouldn't have to do that in 2024. The standard should be at a minimum of 720p. The 480p standard is outdated.

@@green9227 I don't disagree that 480 is trash. I always bump it up to 1080p AT LEAST if I can. All I'm saying is if you really cared about getting a great picture or the best picture you won't get that on a phone. You'd be on an LG or Sony TV. This is coming from someone who would purchase individual movies back in 2011 with the intent of watching on my phone. There was no Netflix yet. While the picture and quality has come so far, it doesn't come close to a nice TV. I've gotten to the old man level where really talented creators I wait til I get home to experience their work on the best screen I have.

I just switched my plan I had the $35 welcome discount and had $5 watch so I paid $40 so $5 more is a steal for double the hotspot and the other extra stuff
