This is another stock video from Visit Denmark, the Danish Tourist Office, for me to use on my website www.eurodestination.com/
I thought the quality of the video was excellent and the presentation not too cheesy as is the case with Portugal. What do you think? Leave a comment.

I have been to Denmark and it is a very nice country. People are very kind there and very welcoming towards tourists. I recommend you to visit Copenhagen and Helsingør, a place with Hamlet's castle.

omg when i visit Copenhague I fell in love with the climate and the forests and the landscapes! Definitely a pleasure to know this beautiful country! When I returned to Mexico I felt nostalgic! But I have Denmark in my heart.

@ T.A.Munch: My mothers parents were from Copenhagen. They came to the United States in 1902. I'm 71 now and i wish i could go to Copenhagen, but i don't think i'll ever be able to. I'm too old now and i really don't have much money.

I live in Denmark for several years, and this video is very accurately convey the spirit of this Scandinavian country. I can't make video like this yet, but I'd like to tell you as much as I can about Denmark. Yes, here is expensive, specific weather, etc but to say thathere are not so many places for visit - not true! Here are so many incredible interesting places! And if you do not know about them or have not been there - so pity, because you are pretty much lost(( Thx so much for this video!

Guys, come on. We're not that bad. I know we just got ranked as the #1 foreigner-hostile country in Europe but if you come here and you play by the rules, you're totally okay. we don't like our habits mangled with, that's all.

@Kashif Listen what we're trying to say is just don't be an asshole. I know it sounds harsh but the reason why we've been like this is because of a lot of people coming from other countries recently that have been vandalizing the country and trying to repel the culture, way of living and rules of society and replacing it with their own, affecting many of the locals who have lived here for decades, despite them being the ones who're "the guests". I mean to give an example you don't just walk around naked in someone else's house if you're a nudist yourself right? That would be pretty disrespectful to them. You're the guest in their house. You see why we're like this now?

I agree with you. If we travel to other countries , Saudi Arabia, do you walk around nude or practise your culture and enforce it . No right. Every human being with a basic common sense will understand. When you visit your friends house, do you shut anywhere or throw rubbish in their house, no right. It's called respecting people and their culture. Please have some classes for tourist that are stubborn bull headed. Period.

My favourite Danish cities that I’ve been too (I’m Australian): 1. Aarhus 2. Copenhagen 3. Aalborg 4. Skagen 5. Kolding 6. Odense 7. Randers 8. Ebeltoft 9. Horsens 10. Billund 11. Roskilde 12. Viborg 13. Helsingør 14. Everything else 😊 It’s all beautiful. What an amazing country!

I don't speak any Danish either, and I get by okay. Went to a shop in Hvide Sande one year, and asked the woman there if she spoke English. She didn't, but she went next door and came back with someone who COULD speak English. We visited the Kyst Centret (a cool place to visit) and the manager met us at the door as we arrived. Apparently we were the first Brit to visit that year and he wanted to greet us personally. You should go to Denmark, it's a great place, full of great people.

I have been doing lots of research on where I want to travel this year. Denmark never was high on the list until I saw this video... it looks amazing! How much time should be allotted to stop by this country?

It really depends! If you want to experience how chill, and laidback Denmark is. Arrive at the Summer, where EVERYONE is happy! The winter is also a very cozy time! But minimum a week i would say!

One week at least in Copenhagen, the gem of Scandinavia. Then a week or so touring the country side. You will never regret it.

I'm from Denmark. I have visited a lot of other countries around the world, but I still think that Denmark is the best country in the world, there is no other country I could imagine to permanently settle, when I have lived in Denmark all my life, nothing beats it. Unfortunately a lot of Danish people don't see or know that, and that makes me a little sad. By the way, why do people say that there are lots of racists here? That doesn't make sense to me. Denmark my favourite country in the world!

I really dont think you need to worry about problems. Go to Copenhagen and see how cozy it is, and i think its one of the best cities in the world where there is place for black, white, homo- and bisexual. Everyone, i LOVE living in Denmark and i think you would enjoy bringing a friend to Copenhagen and having a nice time :-D People tell us we are nazi's and racists... I have a ton of black friends, my uncle is homosexual, i dont know or care what religion my friends have, and my whole family, and social connections love life with everyone they can live it with! :-D

Hey i live in Odense and if anyone have been thinking about visiting Denmark I would highly recommend visiting Langeland they have this beautiful rock beach filled with only smooth stones and are keeping wild horses there not always there because they're running free and no ones looking after them but its really pretty

I used to think Denmark was boring, and i just waned to get out of there! But i am now an exchange student in America, and i realize how great Denmark is, and i'm looking forward to going back.. danes are known to be very friendly towards strangers, as long as you don't talk shit about Denmark. and the weather can be warm and sunny, but also rainy, and cold with alot of snow.
