Dear friends, we know Halloween is over but it's been a few years since we've been able to film a full October vlog in Sleepy Hollow so we hope it's worth the wait! 🎃 We really enjoyed making this spooky and fanciful retelling of our Sleepy Hollow Halloween, that we were even inspired to write a whole poem for it! If you like this style, perhaps we'll have to do a Halloween Town Part 2? Let us know! 👻 P.S. Somehow with the time change, we missed our own premiere, so sorry! 😱

I also have to say I LOVE that even the years Jonas has been in the US, he still has such a strong Swedish accent. It's quite comforting with his poetry. Your videos, and Jonas' work, are never boring, You're not the cause of old Rip's snoring. For 40 years, he slept, or so I hear, I love your videos this time of year. All your editing, of these videos must be a feat, so thank you so much, for this Halloween Treat.

Omg! I was IN that parade, I was right before the Ghostbuster’s crowd 😂 It took me 2 months to make my La Catrina costume 😩 I was dedicated to making a scene 😂 This was my first time being in the parade but my second time seeing it. Perhaps next year I see you guys there 😊 awesome video, I have yet to properly visit Tarrytown and it’s historic locations 🖤🪦💀

During the Parade, I instantly recognized the deli across the street that my parents and I ate at when we were visiting in September(we were only in Sleepy Hallow for like 2 hours). How in the world did I not know the octogon house was there? I saw it on the hill side! Didn't put two and two together!! Next time!!

Loved this! Think about Sleepy Hollow every October. Visited there a few years ago. Had never heard of the Octagon House. A tin type photo would be so much fun. Was so wishing I could have been there for the meet and greet. You both looked so festive. And yes, I want Jonas' costume!

This was so much fun, loved going to Lyndhurst Vampire Manor. I watched Dark Shadows after school every day, some 55 yrs ago. I think Jonas would be great at making those porcelain night lights with Sleepy Hallow images, little carved pumpkins too 😊

We must visit Tarrytown. Washington Ervings story has truly done so much for our areas. Heprobably never realized how famous it would all become!? Such fun! Wow! Just when I think you cannot top your last video...this was amazing! As one of the customers at Horsefeathers looks at Jonas' burlap face, I can picture him staring back as he takes a spoonful of food and shoves it into his burlap mouth. Hahaha. 😅🤣

How fun! The village party looked so fun and I really liked the Headless Horseman in the parade. Also, there is an octagon house in Watertown, WI which I have seen. Octagon houses must have been a thing in the 1850s.

We live in MA, and have been meaning to take a trip down there around Halloween for a few years now…you guys TOTALLY sold me even more 😍 the headless horseman is my favorite Halloween story. I’ll need to book us a place for a weekend so we can soak in all that Halloween goodness!😍🧡

This is my first time watching your videos. I wish to sincerely extend to you both my highest approbation for your creativity & poetic narrations. Moreover, you two are the perfect Soulmates. Keep doing what you both are boing because you're great at it. I grew up in Yonkers N.Y. & my mother used to load us up in the Country Squire Station Wagon & take us all over the Hudson Valley. I remember when Kingsland Point Park in what was then "North Tarrytown," now "Sleepy Hollow" had a swimming beach & float in the heavily polluted Hudson River. While it may seem incomprehensible that a village would ignore it's claimed fame & call itself "North Tarrytown" rather than Sleepy Hollow, its all-New York Politics. Tarrytown is a village in the town of Greenburgh while North Tarrytown was a village in the town of Mount Pleasant. The politics were laid to rest in 1996 when North Tarrytown officially became Sleepy Hollow.

This was such fun! Thank you for sharing this Halloween treat! Terrytown is a place I would love to visit and explore any time of the year.

It’s crazy, I lived on Long Island all my life, but never really went to up state NY. I so regret it now that I don’t live on LI anymore. I took it for granted 😩 so amazing to live so close to that !
