That large Kverneland baler is a "Fastbale" so it has a pre-chamber. You don't have to stop moving to put the netwrap on and release the finished bale. Pretty neat engineering.

we are also protesting in belguim. And its deffinetly not the first choice. Rather a last resort type of thing. We have alreidy done a lot of other types of demonstrations in the past. Didn't help unfurtunatly

OLLIE Thanks I used to work in Agriculture through the 1960's .70's & 80's mostly in Cheshire , first became aware of you on BBC North West when you were featured on their evening bulletin, when you filmed yourself on your Fast Trac with a set of cambridge rolls I think it was winter barley / wheat you were rolling. Started watching your lockdown learning videos , and have carried on watching ever since. Congratulations your content is informative, and very relevant to inform the viewer of the issues facing your industry, and very entertaining .

I’m glad you’re learning the difference in Northern Ireland and Ireland 🤣. I enjoy your rants as they do make a bit of sense. Blocking public roads doesn’t work. Blocking supermarkets distribution centres every couple of weeks would make the supermarkets sit up and take notice and the public would learn more about the problems in farming. 60%

The low loader lashing rings would be easily cured with a piece of old conveyor belt. Surprised you don't have two pieces for driving your digger up the ramps, certainly safer when frosty.

I was issued a Major 16 foot mulching mower for playing field work and I have to say it was a poor piece of kit. I had a brand new roller fall to pieces because the end caps weren`t welded on! I didn`t even get to wear the paint off it! The mower would shred the main drive belts with ease and our fitter got into the habit of putting a second set of belts on it but mounted in such a way that they were out of harms way until you needed them, such was the effort needed to fit them!

The round baler is a non stop round baler, the kubota mowers are Vicon with 3 blades on each disc.

great video i enjoy your rant maybe your right about not protesting but at the same time a lot of the public are not aware of the plight of our farmers asking them to boycot supermarkets they dont understand although you and other you tubers do a good job of keeping public in the know there is a huge gap between our agriculture and public the reason french farmers and german farmers get herd it is protesting when frech farmers protest they get what they want from there goverment as they have proven time and time again im not saying bloock pur roads or cause havac but if the disterbuting centres was blocked for a day i think that would make a difference

Stay away from those ratchet straps, cant have ratchet gate again 😂. Great yard layout . Used to work for kubota dealership building kit up. Well done on the calling out people instead of protests. If you get a chance have a look around the ifor williams trailer factory in corwen north wales. Well worth a look

Well said Olly Your comments tonight were spot on, take the trains for example- all that has done is pi££ people off not want to support them at all Everyone is behind the farmers in uk but that is not to say there isn’t more that needs to be done to help them, call out supermarkets & middle men making all the profits, disgusting to see all the imported products that we can supply & grow in uk just to line their pockets Keep up the amazing videos & the great work you do highlighting all the issues within our countries farming communities 👍👍

We close to a small town on the Welsh border population 3000, I don't think 50 percent of the population here would care about farming. A large percentage just want cheap food, to others we are seen as very wealthy as we own land, some think we hold them up on the roads with tractors. Then there's the retired eco warriors who protest about chicken sheds and farmers killing the rivers

I think your wrong about protesting Olly. We need to do something, we don't have the public on our side , I'm not saying we should do what the French are doing but let's do something, the sfi is all ok if your an arable farmer you can get paid to grow nothing, have a look what's on the table for livestock farmers sfi has sfa (sweet f--k all) feed costs will rise, straw will rise from less arable production and there's very little chance of growing winter bird food on permanent pasture, as usual with UK farmers we are never united like our European counter parts,

Boycotting the supermarkets definitely makes more sense here than doing what farmers are doing in Europe. Larger scale disruption only turns the public against the cause as can be seen on the railways. Train drivers are striking because they're having the T's and C's dramatically changed and they do right to push back, but it's been going on for so long that the public are fed up and don't support them.

Olly, I watched this upload within minutes. I had a ready reply, but waited before posting. You don't advocate 'activism', i.e., disrupting ordinary people's lives, crippling the economy to make a point. So, what I ask, Olly, is where to sign up to a petition, or how can I, as an average person, (who understands your, our concern) actively support your reasonable position? How do we, the food eating, land loving, sympathetic public get behind farmers? Is it signing petitions, emailing MPs, how do we show our solidarity with the likes of you and so many others who bring the reality of farming to us?

We will lose any public support if there's action like we are seeing elsewhere. It's a big ask for the public to boycott shops in a big enough number to do any good. The wallet will always win. The NFU need more teeth and we need to make a noise about the state our industy is in at the moment but protests are not the answer.
