Sachi... When she said taqseem suqare.. first thing that came to my kind was she is pronouncing ut wrong.. then.. i gathered all memories of the loveliest ever novel... Istaqlaal street and all.. just wanted then to visit all those placing in sequence of novel.. like how they are mentioned in the novel..

Would like to recommend a few things: 1. Never wear boots while travelling. Always wear sneakers or comfy shoes because you’d need to walk all day. Wearing boots on flight and even to the airport is a big no. 2. When visiting some place new, try to learn about the culture and the best way to assimilate is through food. Pakistani tea and cuisine you will get all your life but you won’t be in the land of sufis (Turkey) again. 3. Turkey is famous for its sufism, tea, Ottoman Empire, and many historical places so do learn about all that because you’re creating memories for a lifetime. Happy exploring! 😊❤

You have to negotiate prices in turkey. If you think bargaining in Pakistan is excessive, Turkey is a level up. They go from 1200 to 200 if u bargain with them.

These are called sugar cubes. In foreign and expensive hotels, you are given processed sugar pieces instead of raw sugar. so if you need sugar ask sugar cubes.

if you want to have desi food, "biryani palace" is a good place (it is in Eminonu). you should visit topkapi palace, Dolmabahce palace from inside and Eyub sultan area too. Honestly, istanbul is historical place so you should definitely visit such places.
