"I could spend days in here and not get bored". Sure, but you might get hungry or thirsty. They don't have that covered. All jokes aside I love the store. To answer the question of "why it's so expensive", it's because these stores cannot operate without having a significant markup to cover their cost of shipping, staff, rent, utilities etc. Essentially their operating costs are quite high, especially in a mall. All that adds to the price of the book. So AED 65 for a book is probably 60-80% profit plus cost of covering their bills. If we choose not to pay those prices then bookstores close down. Something that has happened here in my state (I'm an american) too many times. You just need to find a good balance between your budget and acceptable price. 65 aed, to me is not a lot, it's only 18 bucks. You can easily spend more than that on a meal.

I love bookstores, too. Happy classics hunting! A lil suggestion, don't sway the camera too fast, it's more convinient to watch. 💛
