I knew Peruvean cuisine used a lot of different kinds of potatoes. I didn't know it was so popular in Patagonia. The country there looks beautiful, and the food looks great!

Thank you! That is very true about potatoes being a staple in the Peruvian diet. They are not as common in Argentina but you do find them with some dishes.

Food looked amazing. I liked the look of that dish with potato and onion. The Malbec too. Architecture looked good. Switzerland is an amazing place to travel just very expensive. I imagine colonia suiza a bit cheaper. Interesting to see. Loved the dogs.

Wow what a beautiful country Argentina is😍 it’s gorgeous. I love the architecture, it’s old school and reminds me of the old times. The food looks delicious, I need to try those potato pancakes ! Goulash is so good. Stay safe guys xox

Have you watched “Food on the Go” on Netflix? It’s about the Italian immigration in Argentina! Answers questions about the pasta influence etc. Just found it and thought you’d find interesting. Stay safe and well as you travel. Ps. Audrey can translate this documentary for Sam, although it is subtitled!! Ha!

We did two trips Effie. One was in early 2019 and another in late 2019. We've been back in Canada now for 2 months.

Happy first day of spring 2020! That potato pancake looks delicious! It looks like those that I saw in a commercial for Maggi rostini that aired in 1999 in Germany, and maybe even Austria. And tell me, do you Canadians call the beginning of spring time the spring EQUINOX or the spring SOLSTICE? Because here in America, "solstice" is the proper word for the beginning of winter and summer; except in "Treasures of the Lost Marsh," an episode of the Canadian children's TV show "Groundling Marsh," the Groundlings call the start of the spring the "Spring Solstice". Is it just those few fictional characters or is it because Canada is farther from the Equator than the United States?

Nice looking tasty food all round, good going. Samuel, I'd like to share one last piece of advice with regard to the coronavirus. For people age 60 and over, the 2nd best thing they can do to protect against the virus is to eat as healthy as possible (with the goal of boosting the immune system). The best defense against the virus is a strong immune system. It would be ideal to have perishable food delivered to your doorstep (or have someone you know bring the food from the store). If that's not an option, I suggest going to a 24/7 grocery store at 4 AM (when hardly anyone is around). It would also be best to wash all produce with a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water (to kill viruses).

Thank you so much for sharing this Bernard! We have a grocery delivery from walmart arriving today and we've been juicing every morning and having a salad for lunch. We're trying to eat as many fruits and veggies these days.
