So much resourcefulness, creativity and originality! I especially love the ones that show other time-keeping systems. Reminds me of Masahiro Kikuno and his Temporal Hour watch. Kudos for starting a local watchmaking school too!

Of course I had to pause and go frame by frame on the notebook flipthrough. Admirable watchmaker with some very interesting pieces. I would definitely like to see a separate report on those clocks you mentioned at the end of the video, I'm always a fan of astronomical complications.

This equipment was used in fabricating bomb and artillery shell fuses, aircraft timing gear, pinions and similar military components. Why did you skip America's contribution to Russian watch making? Watchmaking was practically non-existent in Russia during the 18th and 19th centuries. Their watch industry began when the Communists took power. ALL the tools, machines, plans, processes, and procedures came from America in 1930, along with 21 American watch makers to teach them. This is what started the dynamic Soviet watch industry.
