You are not supposed to cross the street to get to the Arc de Triomphe, for God's sake! There's an underground entrance to give you access, like a tunnel.

Yes, the pedestrian crossings is the tunnel underground. I can’t believe no one told you that while you were trying to cross!!

The next time you go to the Arc de Triomphe, there is a tunnel under the road for pedestrians, much safer than crossing this roundabout

I been to Paris a few times and never really had the chance to explore the City as work got in the way, thanks Buddymoon for highlighting it well. ps: You didn't really miss anything by giving the Mona Lisa a swerve

The sign on the floor in front of Notre-Dame cathedral doesn't indicate the center of Paris, but the point from which all the roads in France have been graduated in order for every other town in France one can its distance from the capital (France is a very centralized country).

In fact the Louvre was initially a fortified castle in the Middle Ages and it grew bigger and bigger through history as the royal palace of France. You can notice different styles in its architecture, with the symbolic letters of different sovereigns like Henry the 2d, Catherine de Medicis, Louis the XIVth, etc. It was only after the revolution of 1789 that the state decided to get these private premisses opened to the public creating by so doing the first museum of arts.

Great videos , safety tip , on a night get the seat belts feed them through handles and then buckle them in , so even if ur doors were unlocked they can’t open your doors as the seat belts are holding ur doors closed hope this helps 🙏

Nice tour but why the same touristy stuff? Why not visit the oldest bookstore in the Latin Quarter or the Saturday street flea market? I found an 1890 Paris newspaper there and framed it when I got back home. Beautiful and easy to transport. Family heirloom for 50 cents!

This was painful to watch… Why would you cross traffic in a roundabout?? So extremely dangerous and there are signs telling you to use the tunnel. A simple Google search of this monument would have helped you.
