WOW. The famous toboggan ride. 37 years ago my parents took the same ride from top to bottom and to this day, my dad swears blind that it cured his previous months of back pain by dislodging a trapped nerve in his spine. A miracle cure he says !! Always wanted to visit Madeira but sadly haven't got there yet. It's on the agenda now though. Thanks guys, Dave and Sophie xx

We went up to the top toboggan station and back on the public bus, it was recommended by a friend - what a fantastic experience both ways, those drivers are MAD, never been round blind bends so fast! Really enjoyed it.

Loving these longer Vlogs of your foreign travels. Madeira is beautiful and you showed it off perfectly. Lovely hotels you stayed in and I'm seriously envious of the wonderful food you had. I used to love garlic bread but then I discovered cheesy garlic bread and I've never looked back (game changer) You asked the question coffee or orange juice. If I'm on "me olidays" I would have coffee and a juice which would be either peach juice, mango juice or orange juice. Lauren was determined to prove her fact that there is a banana industry in Madeira. The toboggan ride looked fun, I'm glad they kept you safe. Haha a certain part of Ronaldo's statue was well rubbed wasn't it 🤗❤

I’m loving all the food your showing us . That garlic bread looked amazing!!

The Madeira bananas are the best I have ever tasted. I was told the EU rejects them because they are to small. If that is true it is such a shame. We went there with mum and dad in their 80s. All they wanted to do was ride in the toboggan. One of my favourite photos is of them in the toboggan, their and their grins was priceless. Loving memories. There is such a lot to see and do in Madeira and you captured about half. Not a crit but a plug for the island. Fond memories. Thanks.

Awesome Vlogs!! We were in Madeira also in 2018! Stopped there from a 30 day Mediterranean Cruise. Was only there 1 day....we are going 3/14/22 for 10 days!!! Thanks for the tour!!! Madeira bananas can only be sold in Portuguese territory. The EU does not allow us to export bananas. It doesn’t matter as we don’t produce enough bananas to supply the Portuguese market let alone the EU market and we cannot compete in price with South America.

Madeirans are very far from a progressive, tolerant society and are very attached to an old, very backwards, uneducated way of living but the island has great infrastructure, absurd natural beauty and much dignity. It's diametrically opposite to mainland Portugal.
