After two years of isolation, finally I a chance to travel with my good friend Lois. We got a chance to visit San Francisco, Oakland and the surrounding Bay Area. Lots of great meals in the city centers and if you venture out just a bit further, the meals and buffets get even better.
On a Sunday afternoon, we ventured out to Campbell California because we heard there was a spectacular seafood and steak buffet. It certainly met and exceeded our expectations. Great drinks, cocktails, and a fantastic selection for buffet items and made to order items. The buffet begins in the dinning room and spans into the kitchen where you can see the chefs hard at work preparing decadent items such as exquisite caviar puffs, fresh scallop crudo, and extravagant bits topped with shaved truffles.
And then there are the meats...where does one begin...
prime rib? probably one of the best I've had!
porchetta? they have that too; crispy on the outside with luscious melt in your mouth goodness on the inside.
And just when you think you're done, their desserts are second to none. Just make sure you save room! Thank you so much for joining Lois and I on this wonderful excursion and finding what I think is the Bay Area's best buffet!
