This week I travel to Benidorm, Spain, with Visit Benidorm, to explore the adventurous side of this well known party destination. 🇪🇸
We stayed in one of the best Benidorm hotels, ate delicious food in Benidorm Old Town and check out all the best Benidorm attractions on this incredible Benidorm holiday.

As a person from Benidorm myself, I am so happy and full of pride to see this type of videos showing that kinda unknown view that not a lot of people know of. Benidorm is usually known for its massive numbers of tourists in the beach and lets be honest, parties and alcohol. But the thing is Benidorm is so much more. When people ask me if Benidorm is pretty I always respond: "Yes. If you know how to look at it correctly", but people always have the wrong (also true) image of it. Thank you for sharing your experienxe in Benidorm and for showing that side of the city people don't really know or even appreciate. Edit: I have been reading some more comments on this video about people not knowing Benidorm was a pretty decent clean city. Just what I was talking about, how stereotypical Benidorm is that you would expect it to be in someway dirty. So thank you for that too.

Love to hear this! We have had two awesome trips to Benidorm now and are proud to promote this side of the destination. Couldn’t agree more, it gets a bad rep (especially in England) but there’s a lot of options outside the typical bars and beach!

Loved, loved, loved this vlog😁 Beni is such a diverse place - so much to the place than The Strip: the Old Town, both beaches, the surrounding hills and villages. So pleased you showed this very traditional yet fun side of the resort. Fab place for couples and families for a short break 👍

love it. been going 3 times a yr since i was 5 in 1968.. ive grown up with the place. so many people turn their noses up at this beaut place. you should return and do a vlog of the nov fiestas.. be there in 10 days. awesome and thanks.. ps that walk to the cross killed hubbys feet. lol

HI Charlie and Lauren, Im so pleased you showed a different side to Benidorm, we have so many beautiful scenic routes all around us, yet alot of tourists NEVER get to see them! Your vlog truly did show some lovely parts (Nice food , cocktails places etc, although it does help when you have people planning and knowing where to go) . Shame you didnt get to see The Light house viewing point in Albir, thats also stunning! We have the pleasure of walking up to cross and other look out view over on right from cross EVERY single day and the views are still breath taking even after living here for 38yrs! Thank you for showing our beautiful town the way most of us see it :) Rose xx

Highly amused at your reaction to the siesta. It is a good way of dealing with the afternoon heat. Bottle of wine with lunch, relax, sleep till 4.00 pm, explore until about 10.00pm as the heat falls away and the humidity builds up, find a place to eat. More wine, more relaxing. I lived in Malta for a while and love their way of life. Cava - a decent Cava can be better that a very expensive champagne. Our regular Friday tipple with fish and chips. You nearly made Benidorm attractive but we still prefer the off tourist places. Fun episode, guys.

Fron the age of 8 to 18 I went benidorm every year and just thought it was a British place but when you venture out or see the old town it the jewel in the Crown and an amazon place that you can truly enjoy. A other great vlog keep up the great work

Great video, I love Benidorm old town, so many people think that Benidorm is just Blackpool in the sun and vlogs like this show another side of it, on my last visit in August I caught Covid 19 the service and care which I received was amazing, the people in benidorm are so caring and friendly. I only ever holiday in Benidorm I love ❤️ it and I love ❤️ the orange hotel because I love ❤️ everything about the hotel the rooms the food and the atmosphere and I love ❤️ the bars especially my favourite jumping jacks I’m back again this year 2022 and I can’t wait!

I have property in Cabo Roig a drive away from Benidorm. We went there in September for the first time and we loved it. Its very different to what i expected and well worth a visit. Great Vlog as usual guys

Oh I watched Benidorm on BtitBox over here in the US and I just loved it. Leslie was my favorite character on that show. I got tired of it after awhile and switched over to Acorn which has more of a variety I think. Great to see you two traveling about again. Take care.

Hi ya two! First, a pity Benidorm apparently a period that earned it a reputation that needed to be changed. Joy though that from your vlog it is also quite apparent that they did a great job of putting it right up there at first class with lots of local charm and lots of cleanliness. Hooray for the city council and board of tourism for a great job. As always, I smiled all through the video at how “cute” the two of you look in your interaction and playfulness. It does give some of us a feeling of…. “I sure wish I’d have……”. Joy and love be with ye both!

I know this is an old vlog , but ive always loved benidorm only been twice 2015 and 2019 but its my favourite place its like a comfort thing for me, i tend to binge watch alot of random benidorm related videos on youtube , on a daily basis that i feel like i know alot , but everything has changed since 2019 theyve revamped everythings , roads , shops , bars and resturants ect its so different i feel like if and when i go back it will be all new to me but either way i love the place and the tv series ,always cheers me up watching peoples videos .

Not been to Benidorm since I was a kid it still looks how I remember it used to stay just near where you are there was a little theme park and minigolf place down the back near the red lion if its still there

I am so glad you enjoyed your time in Benidorm. As I said last week, as a Brit living in Spain (since 1970, too) Benidorm is not my favourite place - i recomend Valencia to get an idea opf Spain itself, but it's great to see my countrrymen enjoying it.

Benidorm is great! I had my stag weekend there with my mates in 2010 in a proper dive of a hotel. I've been back a few times with my wife for the cheap food and drink, and the great full english breakfasts. I think you missed out not visiting "little britain".

Benidorm looked great. Lovely weather with clean and inviting surroundings. Great itinerary, loved especially the Jet Skiing and Paddle boarding. I think you will be doing plenty of both in the future. Haha Lauren's laugh on the Jet Skis was starting to turn sinister 😮 Sorry you're going have to explain to me who Sticky Vicky is and what she does 🤔 I think I've heard she's some sort of dancer. Has she appeared on Strictly for instance 💃 Sorry she does what sorry 🙊🙈 OMG! Did wonder what direction the vlog was taking when Lauren said "get me in that sack" Gotta love a girl who innocently says something funny without thinking first 😂 What wonderfully healthy and tasty looking food they had in the restaurant. Looking forward to seeing you in Madeira 🤗❤ ps After several times watching the fight again I'm now listening to it on the radio.

Whatever you want from a holiday Benidorm has it! Its great for o.a.ps, couples, singles, inc males, females, probably one of the most friendly places we have ever been!

I go every year, stay in the old town its a blast. However I do recommend you trying the biggest fancy dress party in what some call the world held in November every year. This is the first one since the pandemic so I expect it to be quieter than most. normally 20k of brits descend dressed up. This year I am doing it in style flying out business with BA staying in a nicer hotel and spending more time in the old town which i personally think is better.

Hari OM I would have to say there are many places in the world I would choose before Benidorm... though it is also fair to say that what you showed was most inviting - especially to a travel starved oldie like myself! I could certainly go the food... glad there were so many vege options. YAM xx

My favourite hotel, but room106 is far nicer. Correction, there are 6 beaches in Benidorm, not 2. Tip Xomo, Cala almadraba, playa levante, Cala de mal pas, playa poniente and Cala de Benidorm. Great video, looks like you had a great time. Have lived and worked in Benidorm on and off for over 22 years. Thanks for a really positive video.

Hi guys, this is the first vlog we've watched (sorry) We love Benidorm. It is what you want it to be. Our parents loved the Western Bar, so we got engaged there 3 years ago. We love the old town, the view point is known.as the Balcon. We can't wait to get back. Oh! Our friends stayed at your hotel & hated every second of their holiday. She said Benidorm was dirty & she felt unsafe. To each there own I suppose

Ah what a lovely comment cheers John. It’s nice when people understand what we do and still cheer us on. Yep everything is covered and paid for whilst we make films and photos to promote the destination (in this case Benidorm). I think Lauren enjoyed the Cava a little too much don’t you. 😂🙌🏼
