Brotha iB, congratulations on your travels man. I've been to sweden exactly 19 different times and all of them were part of my vacation spots that I often travel to. Sweden is literally one of those 'cashless' societies that north america should be learning from. I've also been to Turku, Finland, the Netherlands, Ukraine(I have plenty of female beauties that I speak to in Ukraine as well of all the other european countries that I vacation at...haha), and Copenhagen, Denmark(I love the 'boardwalk beach' that I always tend to go to during their summer time). Three months later, I'll often head down to Brazil and Colombia and Costa Rica. Being a dedicated bachelor, with a passport, has it's own privileges 😇🤙...Lastly, most americans(north americans) stay in their little 'town holes' and have NO idea that there's real world different perspectives and "live history"(other than what others say and what they read in books, but like Bilbo Baggins of the Shire, in the Lords of the Ring, the adventure and real world experience is NOT in those books, 'but out there'...) that was taught and lived centuries before north america was landed on by Christopher Columbus. They stay in their little towns or big cities and think that the whole world revolves around that particular point of view. But, I'm grateful that you are NOT one of those people. Keep growing and keep expanding your point of view and awareness...🤟

Sure am enjoying your travel log , Ib that Mips safety helmet tech. saved me on and over the bars on my E - bike , I hit one of those white hub cap looking things that are glued down on asphalt, I fractured 3 ribs , another cyclist stopped to check on me and he said he did the same thing last November broke his hip hitting one of those bumps . Definitely with Mips technology for my new helmet ⛑️

1:54 That island right there is Adelsö and the island to the upper left of it is Björkö - AKA Birka. Many artifacts from the Vikings have been found there.

We have the Barricades in the U.K too, or 'Bollards' as they call them. I call them 'Smackdown prevention devices" as they are there to slow down traffic for whatever reason.

Between 1622 and 1672 Sweden had 19 royal ships. Those were the biggest warships in the fleet. Wasa was one of those19 ships. The barriers in the road are simply there to slow traffic down for safety.

Ship was incredible and the colors insane! I'm pretty sure that the barrier in the middle of the road is for a pothole or other problem with the road. 😁 Streets are bad everywhere 🤣

@@AlfSimen true, and in the video at the front of the object you can see the beginning of a hole in the asphalt. Just some drivers don't hit it before they have a chance to fix it.

@@96southernboy14 No, that is clearly quite fresh asphalt, so no hole. The "buckling" of the asphalt in front is just from when the heavy concrete base was placed down on very freshly laid asphalt. Its placed there because the sidewalk is really narrow because the house is so close to the road, and they dont want cars going fast and close to the sidewalk.

Yeah it's just to slow people down. People don't care so much about speed limits and speed bumps are expensive and takes alot of work to put in place and remove.

ok... but you should drive (car or bike) in the fjords in norway. it's an unforgettable experience. Go from Oslo, over Hardangervidda, to something like Trollstigen.

Sweden is not the same when it comes to 1st ammendment protected activities here like recording video and audio. Be sure to look up their laws on video and audio recording to avoid trouble.

You were actually served Ryvita multigrain hard bread on the plane! Brilliant. That thing in the middle of the road is to get speed down. The one having it on ones side has to let the other car pass by. There are laws regulating safety net being included in the package but no law forcing you to use it. You were walking around upscale Täby, higher educated, smart parents. In the hood things are a bit more casual 😉
