We had heard a lot of good things about the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, but even more bad things! We decided to test our luck and go anyway. It's just an hour from Bangkok, what could go wrong?!

The train market is Maeklong Railway Market, about an hour from bangkok. The big tuktuk had some sort of bus stop at the very end if the road leading to the floating market.

I went to all these markets about 17 years ago and even back then they were already just tourist traps that didn't even try to cater to ordinary Thai people in any way... I wouldn't even bother walking past today...

Hi. How much did it cost you to go one way to the market?

To get to the market it was 120 baht, then the boat ride was 200 baht (for 2 people)

@@KokoroKompass was there a Board sign with proper kios stand or just just a agreement of price of a lady rolling a boat? From all the videos ive seen The motor boats are the scams with 800-1000B per person The roll Boats are 400-500B per person. Surpise you got it down to 200B Going in 3 weeks : been there multi times but first time with family LOL! Going to do all the “other stuff “ this time.

@@KokoroKompass Day1 tall building and chatu…something market/jobb fair Day2 hop on off tuk tuk every temple Day3 Pattaya SOT temple/ tiger park/ buddha mountain/ beach Day 4: elephants sanctuary/ float market Day5 dream world Day6 freeday Going with a 70 year old 5 year old and my very simple hindu wife.
