Full disclosure, I subscribed BEFORE seeing this video and so glad I did. When I was a young pilot in the Marine Corps we did a port call in Naples and I got to go to both Sorrento and Pompeii and saw all that you experienced there. It was like going back. When we were there we had dinner in the town square and saw fireworks in 3 different directions so we asked the waiter if this was some kind of Italian holiday and he replied very enthusiastically that today was the anniversary of the eruption of Mt Vesuvius that buried the town, and they celebrate it every year. So we stayed and partied with the Italians all night. So lucky to be there on that exact day of the party. I will never forget it.

Kyra seems like so much fun to travel with. Always positive and happy. That’s what I’m talking about!!!

Saw Pompeii in May 2019. The best time to go is before June. It's so much cooler. It was amazing to see. We did our cruise on the Oasis of the Seas leaving from Barcelona, Spain. One of the best trips that we have taken.

Honestly what I like is you are a quaint more quiet less loud couple. That comes across very well in your vids. So many others I try to watch and can never make it thru a full vid due to constant adjusting volume which is such a drag. Others are so loud and obnoxious. The homes on the mountain side and black sandy beaches just beautiful. Idk about lemon 🍋 chocolate 🍫 but would taste it. I think of olives 🫒 but didn’t realize lemons were so prominent in Italy. Sorrento. 2 hrs to stroll on your own. Now Pompeii. This looks like it’ll be an all day tour. Love when tour guides just spit out history. That’s crazy that this city was under ash for years. Fascinating and sad at the same time. Hats 🧢 off to the gentleman with the cane. Kyra. You a mess with that steam room talking bout “ you come often” after the split. 😂. Lupa. SheWolf. Legal brothel. Ok. I will Grace Italy 🇮🇹 one day but don’t think I would physically be able to do some of these tours so thanks so much. Glad you guys had a great time. We did the Amalfi Coast tour back in 2018 while crusing with NCL We shopped in Sorrento for souvenirs, ate lunch in Positano and then capped off the trip with a 90 minute tour of Pompeii. There were 13 of us so we did a private tour.

Loved this video! So glad to see how much you enjoyed it! I did a very similar tour on my Mediterranean cruise and it was amazing!! Italy is one of my favorite places to visit. The one thing I do remember is how very long those days were we covered so much ground in our excursions and we were exhausted each night…but it was worth it to see all that we did. I hope you have learned to conquer your jet lag, my preference is to fly at night if possible, (hopefully direct), sleep on the plane. When you reach your destination stay up until your normal bedtime then sleep. The worse jet lag I got was when I had a watch that kept the time at home and where I was visiting, constantly monitoring the time at home actually wore me out! Safe travels

That was some journey, you guys went on. Lots to explore;and the Pompeii guide was so passionate. Sidenote I would try the lemon flavored chocolate.

I love your video, brought back memories of cruising to Naples. I have been to Pompeii twice and still haven’t seen the entire ancient city. The Amalfi Coast is beautiful. Kyra you should haven’t gotten a Lemon and Orange smoothie with crushed ice, I had one and it was the best. To get to Capri, the fastest ferry right by the cruise port would get u there in 45 minutes. Memories cant wait to go back 😀
