Visiting The Angel Of The North!

Күн бұрынIn this video I head to Low Eighton in Gateshead to visit The Angel Of The North! This impressive 65ft sculpture was completed in 1998 and has a wing span of 246ft. Along with showing footage of the Angel, we also show how easy it is to visit the sculpture with a free car park located nearby.

I remember singing and dancing around the statue when it first opened to Robbie Williams "angels" back in the primary school days. Good times... xD

I’ve always said it’s a statue with aeroplane wings for arms and I’ve always thought it would look a little better with a bit of colour on it!

newcastle central station then get the metro to gateshead interchange then get the 21 bus which drops you right outside the angel of the north :)

If you navigate there using google maps it guides you straight to the car park right next to it. Easy to go there by car and definitely worth the visit 👍🏻
