The Battle of Mu'tah ( معركة مؤتة ‎) was fought in September 629 near the village of Mu'tah, east of the Jordan River, which is today the city of Kerak in Jordan. This was the biggest battle in the lifetime of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and was the first battle against the Christian Roman Empire. The Prophet had selected the first, second and third leader of the Army. Travelling all this distance, it took hours with a car, just remembering how the Sahaba walked all this path on foot, also walking towards a war SubhanAllah.
A Jew from Madina who listened to this command said that "since the Prophet (pbuh) had mentioned them, they all had to be martyred in this battle, this is the prophecy" which they were and their Maqam's are to this day in Kerak, this was also the first time Khalib bin Waleed (r.a.) became leader of the Muslims army after the martyrdom of
