I've never been to Bacolod, never thought it would be this beautiful. I was born and raised in Manila pero honestly, parang mas maganda pa ang Bacolod than some areas/cities here in Metro Manila. Napaka presko tingnan ng lugar.

I am a Registered Nurse here in the States but my passion is cooking , I have been watching Chinese cooking shows since I was 8 years old, never stood the language although my Grandfather is from Hong Kong. But I watched him cooked and my late Father loves food so since I am the oldest I learned how to cook at early age. So it’s my hobby and still watching cooking shows .That is our gift from God! I used to buy South Beach Diet at Mai Pao near lagoon, cor 6 th st and lacson st, the original restaurant. So sad to know that you closed during the pandemic but your employees continued the restaurant in another location. Mai Pao will always be a landmark restaurant in Bacolod, Chef JP!
