Visiting The R.O.C Bunkers of Leicestershire

Red State is back with another explore video but this time its a little different to the usual. For the past year we've been set on finding more about the royal observer corp and the master-posts they use to man during the cold war. We decided to head out to very R.O.C post in Leicestershire to see which ones are still standing and which have been demolished. This video will be in 2 parts so its not too long so keep an eye out for the next part coming soon. This is basically a video survey of the Leicestershire regions R.O.C master-posts.

Still got to release the second part to this your comment just reminded me, it’s nice to go try see them all in an area to get a sense of how many were around

@@RedStateFilms Was wondering where the second part was. Have visited loads over the last year or so, but it's nice to see one video with them condensed in. Makes research really easy! Looking forward to pt 2.

Barbellion I love them really want to see one restored but keep missing the open day. Will get part 2 up soon pal. That’s what my thinking was put them all together so it’s easy to see how many was in the area.

@@RedStateFilms There's one near me at Skipsea (google it) which I have permission to enter .. but the owner has lost the key, so waiting until the end of Summer to contact him again. Wonderful, quirky little things.

Im always loosing keys! bet he find it soon as he gets it sorted aswell. have to let us know how it looks inside, is it very original still or does the owner use it for there own thing?

There are a few good ones dotted about to see for sure. as you can tell some are unfortunately ruined/burnt out etc. all part of the explore though hey. cheers for the comment mate!
