I got a lot of reactions to this video. Positive and negative. I told you guys that is't my first time visiting the country. I'm giving you my thoughts and if I say things that are not true or incomplete I'm sorry. This is the information I got from my short trip. Saudi Arabia is often in the news in a negative way. With this video I want to show you the positive sides of the country to the world. My idea of Saudi Arabia changed since my visit in the positive way. It's an important message that I like to send into the world. All countries do wrong stuff and bad people are living everywhere. Let's focus on the bright side of things.

We were invited to be one of the first tourists in Saudi Arabia. We went to the Winter At Tantora Festival. Saudi Arabia is of course very controversial but we had the chance to see with our own eyes what the country really is like. This trip changed my view completely. We saw wonderful places and met so many nice people. I hope you enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed traveling the country.
Even before posting this video I got a lot of messages with different meanings about the country. I know a lot of bad stuff is happening anywhere in the world. I'm not denying that. But I think if you look at the positive things, the world will become a better place.

well in central America and south America some kids never see a school and are sold off to the hand of sick foreigner to exploit children sex slave , they recently Busted a gang of Israeli military in Colombia S.S selling Children for sex to a known resort owned by Israeli in Santa Marta Colombia , these Israeli were Terrorizing the little town with arm Israeli in truck treating the local Colombians like outclass citizen , anyway , the Colombian secret military arrested the whole bunch and expels from Colombia , now they are in Nicaragua doing the same . people beware of bad people .

@@wala6673 Again my argument is not about schools or the availability of them, it is about privilege. I understand your patriotism, but please be fair to all women. Of course some women from educate families has allowed their daughters to enroll in schools; however, there are many women who aren't as lucky, so please acknowledge that. Moreover, teachers were imported from all over the Arabic nation to teach in Saudi colleges even in schools, and you can duple check that by asking your Mama. Does the media exaggerate about women being oppressed in Saudi Arabia? Yes, clearly, it does! The media over generalize just as much as you did. Your mother situation doesn't apply to all women of her time.

@@truthbetold89 don't get me wrong besides all the political controversies (like every single leader has) bin Salman has changed Saudi Arabia drastically. Saudi Arabia 2 years is unrecognisable from current day Saudi Arabia and it is continuing to change extremely fast. But allowing women to go to is not one of the changes he made. All my years living in Saudi I have never seen a leader so loved and he is not even king yet.

That one guy There is a lot of propaganda going on in the Saudi media hiding things under the table. Most saudis are like sheep who blindly follow whoever the shepherd is without asking why or where. It just a matter of time before the economy falls down and then they will ask themselves as to why and how and maybe start using their minds to think and look at the bigger picture.

@@truthbetold89 yeah it seems to me that you don't know much about Saudi Arabia. I have worked both in the richest parts of Saudi Arabia and the poorer and both love their country. As a matter of fact Saudi Arabia is one of the lowest countries that emigrate outside their country. Thats how much they love their even though more than 80 percent of the country has been to vacation outside, so they know who the outside world looks. ( Btw 80 percent is an extremely huge percentage). I actually meet alot of saudis with American and Canadian citizenship who can leave whenever they want. But they tell me they haven't been to those countries in years. Saudis are a proud intelligent people. I only say this because I have lived with them for years now and I know how they live and think. Btw their economy is doing just fine it's actually getting better and better by every year

Besides murderers can be beheaded or shot .. but how is that any less than burning people alive while sitting on electric chairs like you guys do? capitol punishment cannot be done nicely but it’s there for sick people who have done horrible actions against innocent people. Saudi people are known for their high education and culture. But yet again if you don’t want to change and feel right at home with your untrue thoughts then by all means stay where u are... but please never engage in hate promotion acts. There were no schools or women teachers and then the government built schools and forced people to allow their daughters to study..so 12 years of school is mandatory but it is sad that some girls still cant go to university to this day

Nah, when it's women getting abused and tortured for not applying to the rules and law or not having a male guardian with them 24/7 or when they don't cover "correctly" in some places in Saudi Arabia it's not ok. Women shouldn't be force to do things that don't believe in or don't want to do, and they should be treated eqaully.

There is definitely some bad things in saudi arabia, just like in every single country in the world, but sometimes it's not what you think. And I can assure you that you can't judge a society from the outside. Oh, And most women cover because they want to, no one forces them. And even in western countries women do things they don't really want because "it's better viewed by society "

I've been to Saudi Arabia as an American because my father was an expat there and it's really peaceful. I don't understand why people want it to "adapt to the western world" like the west is the center of the universe and we have to abide by their laws. No, Saudi Arabia should stay as it is so it doesn't end up being as chaotic as America and the rest of the west.

Let just clarify some facts women always allow to study , indeed the biggest women university in the world is in SA it called PNU . And we have high education quality in our universities . In QS for 2019 best 1000 universities in the world KSU 189 internationally and the second best in the Arabic world. There is so many misunderstood things in this video such as when he said that he is one of the first tourists in that area well that festival that he went to was a private festival for wealthy people and people with invitation cards . I would love to try to help fix the misconception about SA if you have any questions go ahead.

We always here about how women have no control of their lives in SA. Is that true? Like for example her in the USA if a woman wants to leave her house and go out to the mall and shop, she doesn't need permission. Or if a woman decides to save money to go on a trip she doesn't need a mans permission to do so. She can drive wherever she wants, wear what makes her comfortable, and can do whatever a man can do if she pleases. Are there any differences for women in SA? As a filipino, i hd prejudice to saudi before thats why i avoid and decided to work in kuwait instead, until i met my saudi workmates here in kuwait.. i came to know saudi are most kind and the nicest in the middleast according to my fellow filipinos who had worked in saudi before. Muslimah of the West Hi. Welcome to Saudi Arabia! My advice is to just just be comfortable. Everything works just fine here, I hope, haha. When you are out in public, don’t be scared of something bad, like street crime... That stuff never happens here. Ever. So, be fully comfortable. You can ask any person in public for help with anything. Most people can speak broken English and are very happy to help a random person. So my advice is act like it’s you’re home with your family. Same here! I grew up and went to school in Ksa. My dad spent around 30 years and I spent 16 years. We came to India last year due to the current laws. Saudi Arabia will always be my home.

I lived in Saudi Arabia for 5 years already, I see how Saudi change. Saudi Arabia is really good in preserving heritages, cultures and traditions, i hope they will still continue that good job specially now that they are opening their gates for tourists. You are welcome everywhere in Saudi Arabia, and thank you for your explanation for the traditions and environments. Any nun-arab people thinking in negative way for Saudis because movies shown in incorrect pictures. "Not secure country, criminals, no technology... etc.". That are wrong! Believe what you see not what you hear. 👍

Its really an amazing video that I really enjoy. You have a nice Personality . By the way i want to correct something, Saudi women was going to school for many decades. This year we have 6 million student in school and 1.5 million in college and University, 52% of these numbers are women.
