my godmother raised me on sound of music, and since she passed 4 yrs ago i haven’t been able to watch or listen to the soundtrack. which is just as sad because it’s one of my favorite movies(her favorite movie)- but this video was so cathartic and lovely and just what i needed. thank you emily🤍hope you had such a wonderful birthday!

We did the Sound of Music tour when we went years ago and we were probably the youngest on the bus at the time, too. We didn't care, either! We went to the Marionette Theater and watched their Sound of Music, too. :) Love your all's drapes dresses.

When you said not many people make the pilgrimage, all I could think of is when Lin Manuel Miranda's father made the whole family not only make the pilgrimage but also made them remake do-re-mi with their own family.
