Thank you for Watching.
Today I had planned to climb the Eiger-Rotstock via ferrata. After seeing that everything there is in the shade, I spontaneously decided on this hut tour. I caught a beautiful day, with lots of sun and good conditions for filming. The approach is very comfortable, it is a relatively short climb to the hut (700 meters in altitude) and well served by public transport. The view is absolutely fantastic and I can say that it was a real pleasure to be out there today.
The details of the route can be found here:

Seeing beautiful films like this brings out two separate emotions from me - one of sadness because I can no longer walk to go and hike locations like this but the second is a deep sense of gratitude. If it wasn’t for you the filmmaker taking the time (the walking back and forth to set up the camera must’ve been exhausting) to document such an amazing thing I couldn’t live vicariously through you! You never know where thanks and appreciation will come from when one does a project such as this, but know your films mean a great deal to many of us! Ciao

Wow! What a view. That must have been a lot of work to bring all the supplies up the mountain to build that house. I love the song “Claire de Lune” at the end of this video. My mother always played that song on the piano for me as a child. She passed away but that song reminds me of her. Thank you for such a beautiful video.

Imagine someone thinking "I'm going to build this spectacular cabin on this tiny little spot on this beautiful mountain, and then the planning that went into it not to mention the complexity of the logistics and most of all deciding it's going to be on this exact spot, it's just utterly mind boggling !!!!!!!!

I’m Swiss, i love my country. There are quite a few of these huts around the different mountains, a lot of Swiss like hiking. Some of the bigger huts have people working there and hikers can stay overnight in them. Choppers are used mostly to bring the building materials up to the mountains.

Switzerland is truly a magical country, where the scenery is breathtaking and the people are welcoming, hard working, determined and down to earth. This outstanding video illustrates many of these qualities with this talented and fit young man visiting an incredible, well-stocked cabin, perched on the side of a mountain, way above the tree line. Just getting there on foot is quite an accomplishment, but getting the supplies to this remote location to build such a cabin - and then constructing it - must have taken exceptional skill and hard work. Many thanks to Zen Hiking Switzerland for this wonderful video. I just liked and subscribed, and I look forward to viewing your other videos on this channel and those you post in the future.
