With travel being restricted now, Nicole and I thought it would be a great opportunity bring a bit of Canada (actually Vancouver) to you! What better way to explore the city than to do so by tasting various dishes throughout the country.
We get to visit the indigenous foods of the First Nations with fresh salmon and toasty bannock. Then over to happy hour to sample the great seafood from the west to the east coast with shrimp, oysters, lobsters dished up by being grilled, fried, and rolled :-). And the enjoyed the rich unconscious Quebecoise dishes as St Lawrence with great cocktails and heavy pates, fois gras, and game meats. But we started it off with the humble, yet tasty, poutine! Absolutely nothing wrong with crispy fries, cheese curds and hot gravy (it was great even though it was vegetarian).
