Visiting Walt Disney’s Grave

As lifelong Disney fans, we wanted to visit Walt Disney's grave to pay our respects.
Walt Disney is buried with his wife Lillian, in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Los Angeles. The cemetery isn't too far from Walt's homes and former studios'
The Disney Brothers first studio, Walt Disney's early homes, the Merry Go Round where he first dreamt up the idea for Disneyland and Walt and Lillians grave, are all easily accessible around Los Feliz and a must visit for anybody with a slight interest in the history of Walt Disney.
Walt's and Roy's first studio, now Extra Copy at 4647 Kingswell Avenue, Los Feliz, Los Angeles has a lot of Disney history and memorabilia and the owner was more than happy to let us look around, ask questions and take photo's.
At Walt and Lilly's grave, we met other Disney fans, all there to pay their respects. Not only has Disney provided us with Theme Parks and films to entertain us, but Walt also created a community of like minded people.
Thank you Walt, for bringing joy to so many.

What a lovely tribute for Walt Disney on his birthday 🙏🥳. I’m so happy to see you guys making this journey. I actually grew up next to Los Feliz. In Glendale California. I remember countess trips to the Griffith Park carrousel and the train station as a kid. I even attended the elementary that’s across the street from forest lawn of Glendale were Walt Disney is buried. Thank you very much for this lovely video. It was so cool seeing everything again. 😊👍❣️.

I woke up early about 3:30 am and sat on the edge of the bed and scrolled through my notifications. I noticed you uploaded this amazing tribute to Walt Disney! Well of course I hit play! I walked down stairs and headed to make coffee as Is my routine. As it perked I watched as Fiona elegantly narrated this wonderful video! What a fantastic way to start a Monday morning!☕️🎥

This was on his Birthday last year. As far as I know, everywhere in this video is still available to visit. We loved every minute of it. We were planning a SF trip this year, which had to be cancelled due to covid. Hoping to visit next year now.
